Keep the 20th August free Hi Jan,
I'm following your blog and it looks like you're having a wonderful time! I've been holding off saying anything but I can't help it anymore and this is the only way I know how to contact you. Well, can you guess? Warren and I are now engaged :) This happened on July 2nd. Our engagement party is happening Sunday afternoon on August 20th. There will be an invite waiting for you when you get home. Hope you can come. Looking forward to a good catch-up, which will probably have to happen after the engagement party though.
Keep safe with the rest of your travels and keep having a wonderful time!
Blessings, Jane xo
Funny story Jan but the trip wasn't wasted with such wonderful scenery! Poor Madame Smith, .....at least she found some treasures! So glad you are all safe and sound, terrible news from Nice.
Bonjour intrepid travellers ... Dear Jan, as always your blog is a great read, combined with great photos .... lovely to see everyone having a fabulous time - scenery, history, food, wine ... it was especially good to read the latest message confirming that you are all safe; a long way from Nice. May you continue to have safe travels, fabulous times and another champagne ... or two, three ...
Fabulous foto's! Great photos and story Jan and what a wonderful time you are having with your mum, Lyn and Neville. Am thoroughly enjoying every detail and looking forward to the next edition!!
Happy Travels Hi Jan, Thanks for a wonderful travel diary, we are with you every step of the way and enjoying it very much. I am sure you and Mom are having a wonderful time. Love Chris & Toi
Glad to hea Love the diary and pictures, you look so relaxed. Our thoughts did go out to you all with the news this morning. Take care and enjoy your holiday.
Safe travel Hi Jan,
Thanks for your reassurance. So glad you are safe. My two precious young people are due to fly to Brussels, and then France, early Sunday morning, along with 100 others from Legacy Australia. Ian and I are wondering if we will receive a call to say the trip is cancelled. Part of me wants that, so I know they are safe, but part of me says that is letting the terrorists have a victory. I am worried, confused and angry that so much planning by so many wonderful people might all be for nothing. Stay safe. XX
so happy to hear that you are all ok . What is happening to this world of ours. Please try to have a lovely time for the rest of your trip. Safe journey home love Babs and Pete xx
Remembering Bastille Day... It is with sadness on this Bastille Day after the horrific attack in Nice, that l wish you all safe travels! Thinking of you all. Much Love xxoo

Hi to the travellers Pat & I were similarly blown away by the vision & kindness offered by Nicolas at the Beaune Hospice - he was ahead of his time. Some of the medical implements were terrifying as to their use.A must see visit.Ken

Sigh! What a place! Have added it to my list of places to visit 'next time'. So glad you have sunshine; not so here I'm afraid. You all look very happy and relaxed, especially Mabel! Enjoy beautiful Dijon! ( Have a cake or two for me.)
My grandfather landed on the shores of Gallipoli 25 April 1915. It's an honour to accompany my darling 90 year old mum (his daughter) to attend the commemoration ceremony. She's a grandmother and great-grandmother. I'm a grandmother...Grandmas in Gallipoli.... Now, 14 months after this incredible and humbling journey, we go to France with very dear friends.
