Name-towns
After our conversation about Ella in Sri Lanka, I meant to message you about a town called Deni in Australia :) Well, it's actually 'Deniliquin', but we rarely call things by their given name over here...it's in New South Wales on the East Coast of Australia - you'll have to visit! :)

YES! Thank you, that's great! It's definitely going on my list... I will google it right now :)

Switzerland
We went to Switzerland and found it to be lovely. We agree that Switzerland is extremely expensive. We were warned.... but.... oh well. Glad you are introducing Ella to the traveling life.

Switzerland
We were also warned of how expensive it is, but I was still shocked! We are very lucky to have friends there! Ella loves traveling and the older she gets, the easier it is as she can walk for longer, is more interested in what's happening around her and we don't have to carry so much stuff fot her (nappies, bottles...)

Good plan
I like your idea of visiting at least one new country every year. I am doing lots of new ones this year after last year being all repeats. Going up a mountain by tram and walking down appeals to me ! Nice for you to have a little one who is a good walker. My latest granddaughter is Ella too.

Good plan
I think being in Europe is relatively easy to visit a new country each year, so I have really set my mind into it, flying from London is very cheap, so we are very lucky to be here! I hope your granddaughter Ella is a good traveller like our Ella.

Ella the Explorer!
Isn't that a nice catchy name for Ella's blog?? :) Sorry to hear about your back, hope it's better now (but I really wanted to see photos of that human-sized hamster wheel!). Looking forward to more of your European adventures...

Ella the Explorer
Thats is a catchy name indeed! I may use it in the future :) We didn't take any photos of the hamster wheel, unfortunately... but my back is much better now - I never got the results of the X-rays which I guess it means that nothing was broken!

Gorgeous Stonehenge

It's on the bucket list
We have been to UK many times but still haven't made it to Stonehenge. It is on the list of places we want to go to so one day we can hopefully make it there. Meanwhile it was nice reading about it. /Ake

Gorgeous Stonehenge

It's on the bucket list
We had been there before, but never inside the inner circle and I think it's worth the money (it costs about £30 to get in), because you really are inside the circle and there are not many people - we went in April in one of the early morning trips and we were only about 15 people... but during the day is normally very busy and you can only walk on the wooden platform around the stones. Thank you for reading!

Love the title and the sentiments -- lovely blog and looking forward to you checking off the rest of your list and adding to it! Happy new year! ;)

Thanks Michelle!
The title in not a hint for Brexit, I promise! :) Happy New Year to you too!

Updating the list
We had a great time on the Isle of Man and you can ride a steam train there. You are brave to do the London Bridge walk....I would not be able to do that. Love the photo in the lavender.

Updating the list
Thank you! I didn't know about the steam train in the Isle of Man... I can 'kill two birds with the same stone' as they say, thank you for the tip! The London Bridge glass was takes a while to get used to but, once you take the first step and realise the floor is not falling, it's fine! :)

Reading too quickly...
I was skim reading the summary of your blog in my mini-feed and I thought it said 'number of children at last blog: 1', 'number of children since then: 2'... and I thought 'wow Deni, that was super-naturally fast' :) Love the 'Under your feet' photo series!

Reading too quickly...
Wooah! Oh, I think one is enough, thank you! Hahahaha!!! To be honest, Ella keeps asking me if I have a baby in my belly, which I think is her way of telling me she wants a sibling... either that or she is telling me I'm fat! ;) hahaha! Thank you for reading and commenting :)

Happy to be alive and back home with Ella and Dex
I know people who have gotten sick and many who have not. We've got a friend from the U.S of Indian decent and she got deathly ill visiting family. I was sure it would be bad for me as I get food poisoning frequently. I am pleased to say it didn't happen. You were eating in upscale places and still got sick. You just never know. When we were there i would not eat from street vendors in this country. I was not will to risk it. I feel like we got to see the real India but we were only there for a short while. Glad you are home and happy. Hopefully our paths will cross soon.

Happy to be alive and back home with Ella and Dax
It's true, you never know! That's one of the great things about traveling, you never know! As I said before, we thought we were safe in our 5 start A/C bubble, but no! But, in a way, I'm kind of glad it happened this way because it put a lot of things on perspective. I'm glad you didn't get ill when you were there! :) and I also do hope our paths will cross someday - we were very close to make it happen when you guys came to UK! :)
