hey Hi,
We were actually on the other coast of Costa Rica, near the boarder ti Panama. The town you talk about is on the pacific side and we were on the Caribbean side. I have heard that the area you are going to is more touristy but really pretty. Where we went to has a larger population on Afro-Caribbean people as opposed to Ticos. A lot of people say the Caribbean side is sketchy but we had an amazing time and were not hassled at all. Hope your trip is great. Costa Rica is an awesome country.

Crista doesnt let ANYONE take advantage... Well as I see Myles- Crista is still tough as ever! She hasn't been at Sky Salon in weeks bossing us around, so I can only assume the people that tried to charge her for the chicken arent the only ones feeling Cristas wrath! HAHAHA! You know I love you sissy! I am SO JEALOUS and SO EXCITED that Cindy and George are going to be there tomorrow. Keep little Cindy safe shes a bit scared. Anyway love you guys and thanks for the blog.... cuz we all know "ITS LOG TIME" at the Wilson house!
hey Its no big deal. We have just expected more because lonely planet said Echo was a "Caribbean style boarders". Totally not your fault that they put that, but we were expecting it to be bigger. No worries though. It was still really neat and it made for a cool adventure to get there. Sorry also that i was mistaken about who was the owner. We assumed (and you know what they say about assuming.) that the guy who opened the store was the owner because he came from, what we thought, was an apartment upstairs. I thought if he lives there he must be the owner. If we come back we will for sure have to take you up on your offer for coffee. I meant no offense. Thanks for reading the blog.
Fupas II Myles, to help you feel better I have some more crazy news from Sunny Side California! Thomas and I went to Jessica's yesterday to have lunch, and guess who showed up? DEBRA WARNACUTT!!!!!! I don't get it, last week the doctors said she had a couple of days left to live after Thomas showed off his Kung Fu, and now she's here at Jessica's!!!! After about 10 minutes of being at Jessica's, Debra saw that Thomas was there, but Thomas didn't see her. She picked up her butter knife and snuck around Thomas while he was eating his Florentine Omelette. Thomas must have this crazy kung fu jedi sense because as she was about to slice his neck from behind, he screamed out "Kung Pao Chicken" then did this amazing back flip from his chair and kicked Debra right in between her eyes. After that, as Debra was knocked out on the floor, Thomas sat back in his chair and finished his food. I guess somebody called the cops because they were there within 5 minutes. When they arrived I was about to tell Thomas that we should leave so he doesn't get in trouble, he disappeared in thin air. WTF? Since he disappeared, nobody has seen him since! He didn't even come to work this morning. I wonder if he disappeared to Costa Rica? By the way, the last I heard, Debra Warnacutt is in a coma at St. John's hospital. The news media went to see Debra in the hospital. They interviewed her doctor, and he said that he has never seen a person's head spin around in circles while they were in a coma until he saw Debra. Damn, Thomas must have kicked the shit out of her. Oh well. I hope Thomas come's back to work tomorrow. I want him to show me some moves. You two enjoy the rest of your trip!
Ziplines Hey there
I am currently planing a trip to costa rica and found your blog! If you enjoyed the Ziplines in Costa Rica but you think they are far to short, try this: http://www.gibbonx.org/. We went to Laos 2 years ago and tried the Gibbon Experience. You sleep in tree houses and the longest zipline goes over 1km.
Thanx for sharing your experience! You give me an idea what is waiting for us in December!!
Have a great time and enjoy every single moment of your trip!

Echo Books Dear Crista,
My name is Krysia and I am the owner of Echo Books. I am currently in California (during Puerto Viejo's low season) stocking up on books for the store. I wanted to say thanks for the great pictures you put up of my store and of my dog, Bruce. I also wanted to say I'm sorry if you didn't find Echo Books to be what you had expected this time. If you make it back to Puerto Viejo I'd like to invite you for a cup of coffee and a dessert on me. I'll have a lot more merchandise soon. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

UUUUMMM HELLLOOOOO... Where are the god damn pictures CRISTA! You got me alllll excited and now I...am...sad! Get off that Costa Rican ganja and put the pics up! Poor little Myles... I hope he is okay. I dont trust those foreign illnesses. I am watching Family Feud and you guys are Jealous! Dad is laying down because he doesnt feel good, its sad cuz it is his BIRTHDAY, mom is cooking CHICKEN FRIED STEAK(...again you are JEALOUS!), and Kaleigh is sitting in the kitchen screaming "I hate chicken fried steak... Im eating Halloween candy for dinner! So in other words its just another normal day around the Wilson house. LOL! I REEEAAALLLLLLLLYYYYYY MIIIIIIISSSSS YOU GUYS! Be safe and dont come back pregnant-
OMG MIKES POST OMG mikes post had me laughing so hard!!! Im glad to read these and it seems like you guys have been having a great time and have been totally relaxing! thats good. We miss you over here and are totally excited to have you guys home again! :)
yum! At first when I saw the pic of the "french toasties" I thought it was a big nasty slab of fried meat! Thats what it looks like until you read the blog! HAHA! Love you guys!
Fupas Hey Fupas, I hope your having a great time! That sucks about the non-cooked meat. At least you had a delicious meal in town. Myles, since you've been gone I've been working 17 hour shifts at work. Debra Warnacutt is the new intern at our office. She got mad one day at work and took your PC and through it at Debbie. Debbie flew the window, but luckily she brought her umbrella that day and was holding it as she was flying through the window. She caught a huge santa ana wind and flew up to the clouds. Oh well, shit happens! Well after that, George fired Debra Warnacutt but gave her a bonus for taking care of Mary Poppins. Thomas told Debra Warnacutt that she screwed up and it was her fault. Debra got mad and tried to punch Thomas, but Thomas did kung fu on her ass and sent her to the hospital. The doctors said she had 2 more days to live. Sucks for her. Well on the bright side of things, you two have lots of fun and drink some more!

WHERES THE VIDEO??? Hey Guys! I missssssss you soooooo MUCH! Poor little Evie was so scared tonight! We had a little pizza dinner for Kaleigh with Benny, Will, Sonia, and Marianne(Sonias mom) Evie was ok with Sonia, Benny and Will but when Marianne came Evie got all stressed out and kept putting her tail up into her belly and running away! Anyway I gave Marianne some doggie pretzels and Evie wouldnt even take them! Poor baby!
ANYWAY.... I CAN NOT FIND THE VIDEO... PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW TO GET IT!
LOVE YOU GUYS!
I feel like I am there! Crista, your blog is amazing, I feel like I am on your porch sipping fruity vodka drinks and waiting for a sloth to arrive! I know that you guys aren't early birds, but as you have seen, the sunsets on the East Coast are unimpressive. Try setting your alarm for 6am, and watch the sun rise, if it's a clear morning it can be a 'religious' experience! I can't wait to hear about the zip line, I like that you are building suspense into the blog (dun dun dahhh!) Until next time...
