Edit Blog Post
Hey guys,
Sorry there hasn't been a blog for the past couple of days. When i was trying to upload some pictures to my last blog the internet stopped working and it would kind of flicker on and off for the past couple of days. Today is the first day that it has worked normally (keep your fingers crossed.). Even though i have not had a chance to write, you haven't missed much. Myles wanted to relax and recoup the past couple of days so that is what we have been doing. He finally feels back to normal this morning, thank god.
On Tuesday when we woke up Myles felt a lot better but not back to normal, he still had a slight fever and he was very tired. But, he wanted to try to eat, so we headed down to Banana Azul and had some really yummy omelets with fruit. Im not a big omelet fan, but these were good. They had a lot of cheese and that's always great with me. After that we went home and just hangout on the porch and relaxed until it was time for dinner and then we had some left overs.
After that we watched The Blues Brothers movie, and went to bed.
On Wednesday when Myles finally got up around 10:45 he decided that he felt well enough to go into town, he had been craving a cheese burger for days now. So we got ready and headed out. We wanted to go to MoJos for lunch, but they are closed on Wednesdays, so we had to pick somewhere else. We have been trying to try other places in town to eat at, but its so hard to move away from the places we know and love. Anyways, we decided to try this little place on the water that is called Jamaican Juice and Jerk Joint. The waitress lured us in with the promise of free juice. Lol. Which by the way was my favorite part of the meal. We decided to sit on the second story balcony so we could eat and people watch. I ordered some chicken tacos, and Myles ordered some jerk chicken. My tacos were pretty good. They had lettuce, tomato, re-fried beans, chicken, and avocado. When i got the dish it looked like one big salad with all the veggies. I'm not a fan
of tomatoes and i forgot to order it with out, but once i picked them off and added some of their hot sauce it was yummy. Myles chicken came with rice, potatoes, southern coleslaw, and some hot sauce. He didn't enjoy his as much as i enjoyed mine, but he said it wasn't bad. We aren't sure if we will go back. The juice and tacos were good, but its just not really to our taste.
Next we headed to the store to pickup some stuff for Cindy and Georges arrival. We got some rice, fresh fruits and veggies, and pork chops. We then caught a taxi home. We still need to go out tomorrow to get some more stuff. After our arrival home, we relaxed on the porch for a bit (don't want to overwhelm poor Myles). A couple of hours later i was getting really antsy so i convinced Myles to walk to Banana Azul with me to check out their tours (i really love Banana Azul, if we ever come back for a couple of days we are going to stay there. The people working their are soo nice, and even though we aren't staying there,
they have welcomed us with open arms. They are great.) We found a lot of things that we would like to do, so we are going to run some ideas by Cindy and George once they get here. They are staying for a week, but when you get down to it, you really only have 5 days to do things. That's not a lot of time. Anyway, after talking to the tour guides about some possible fishing and ATV adventures, we went home again to relax. At around 7pm i was able to pry myself away form my book and heat up dinner. Left overs again. We'll start getting creative next week when Cindy and George get here. After dinner we watched some south park ( i know you love it Katie.) and went to bed.
It hasn't been a very eventful 2 days, but i love just relaxing and doing nothing. Its nice to not have to worry about anything and just do some mindless reading. I hope you all are well. Keep the comments, and questions coming, we love to hear from you all. TTYS

Myles
SO GLAD to hear that Myles is better. Now the rest of you stay well. Don't eat any raw food, as lettuce. LOL, Pam
