Happy Anniversary Travel Brendan,
What a great place for a traveler to celebrate their anniversary. Great to see that Ali reads your blogs! A massage was a great idea. Enjoy the wines!

Thank you D and MJ. I couldn´t agree more. And yes, I was very surprised to receive a message from Ali. It is great to be part of the TB family.

Alone on the Ice

Thank you so much Chris and Nikki. I really appreciate that, and have to admit that the picture is one of my favorites from this trip. I can´t say how incredible it has been down here. And BTW, congratulations on your second wedding. What a blog that was.

This is a grand trip you've planned
Sounds perfect. Sorry to hear about your ankle but sounds like it is not serious. F-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c photos. We will have to check all of this out soon. Keep those blogs coming.
16th March 2012

Thanks D and MJ. No, I don´t think it is anything serious. I am feeling better today, although muscles I normally don´t use are hurting. Probably from walking on the crampons. By the way, today is my TravelBlog birthday. I joined 4 years ago. Hard to believe all that I have seen during those 4 years of travel. Ciao, B

hi from Argentina
Have you been to "El Galpón"? Although it´s a plce for tourists, I recommend it. It´s a typical estancia where you can see country life, sheep, lakes, and a wonderful dinner with lamb and beef (all you can eat) with a tango show. It´snear the glacier, in Calafate, I went there. Enjoy Argentina.Hugs.

Hi Graciela, I noticed El Galpon today as we drove by, but I am out of time. It's off to Ushuaia tomorrow.

What a trip!
Hi B, Man, this looks like one heck of a trip so far. Wish I was with you for most of it. Would have even enjoyed the glacier but my age lie would have been a little more obvious I am afraid. That and I would have been the slow one in the group. Course I would have been the fat one too so I could always belly bump them off the edge if they complained (haha). Anyway, your pictures are wonderfull and I hope you kept some of the glacier water to bring home with you in case of an emergency. Continue with your wonderfull trip and keep on blogging.
15th March 2012

Thanks Ted, I was just thinking today that you would have enjoyed this trip. I is much more up your alley, and you could have fished some. I have a feeling you could have belly bumped some of the smaller ones off the glacier. I'm glad you are enjoying the pics and blog. If I have time, I will add some more glacier pics and a video clip tonight. It was too late last night and I was too tired. Talk with you later. B

hi from Argentina
Argentina is amazing, complex, beautiful, difficult, awesome, full of contradictions... hahahha, but I still like it, I live here. I learned a lot from my own country when I started travelling abroad. But I always come back.Have you been to the North? Quebrada de Humahuaca, or the IguazúFalls on the East or the amazing Andes on the West? Hugs from Argentina. Graciela.
14th March 2012

Thank you Graceila, I am loving your country! I was at Iguazu and thought is was spectacular. Off to Ushuaia and then BA soon.

That waterproof camera has certainly paid off!
MJ here- love the zipline! Great shots of the falls. You'll be working for the National Geographic soon.
13th March 2012

You are so right about the camera. On the Zodiac they stopped the boat so people could put their cameras away. I was so glad I had the waterproof one. Those pics are some of my favorites. National Geographic? Now that would be a dream.
