Thank you for the comments. I have to say that each place has been mystical. It is so amazing the experiences I have had. And yes T, you 2 were good practice for the Apes and for traveling. Who knew! Will try to keep this going even without the pictures.

Apes
Hi B, Sounds like you are making the best of all your travel glitches. The reason you where so at home with apes jumping on you and picking on you is all because of your childhood with Kirwin and I. Isn't it nice that we could help prepare you for future travels? Have fun, keep the slightly smaller vacation cap on tight and enjoy the ride! Ted

Raugh out Roud, I love it. I will do my best to keep this updated, but the Godess of Technology is a cruel Mistress, sigh.
7th April 2011

Not to mention putting your families height into a little car like that!!!! Did Ted mention to you that the new word now is ROR (Raugh out Roud) LOL!!! I'm enjoying your daily blogs and look forward the the Camel adventure..... Keep those pictures and blogs coming.

Hi B, All the pictures are gorgeous. What a great adventure and you really had me laughing thinking of you holding the door closed on the mini taxi! Have lots more fun and I can't wait to read the next installment. xoxo. K

you made me laugh
Oh Ted, I actually sat here and laughed out loud thinking about that Civic. Yes, it would absolutely fit right in here as a petit taxi. And thanks for the support. I am doing my best to have a good trip. Wait for tonight's entry. Just picture a camel ride on a deserted beach.

Taxi
Hi B, Even though it wasn't the center of this blog I keep thinking of the petit taxi. Every time I read about it I get the mental picture of moms old Honda civic with all 5 of us piling into it to save gas. To complete the picture you have to remember it after she did her "body" work to it with spray paint and steel wool. Thanks for the great blog and pics! Have fun. Ted

Hey there!! Sounds like you are having a great time and I am very happy for you!!! I can't wait to see the rug and if it is made somewhere else, cut off the label!!! I am glad you are using your "bad ass" face to keep people away.. I hope it works on others better than it worked on me!! LOL! Love and miss you!!!!

Very good eye Ted. I am doing a combination of asking people to take my picture as well as setting the timer and running around in front to look cool and casual. Thanks for the comments. I really appreciate them.

Great pictures
Hi B, Just a short note to let you know how pretty the pictures are. Your "suprise" Christmas gift really takes good pictures. The only question I have is: are your arms getting longer or are you asking more people to take pictures of you. Seems like you look much further away in some of these pictrures than usual. Maybe you can turn the zoom around backwards so its like looking through binoculars the wrong way :-) Have fun, be safe and keep the blog coming

I would be lying if i said I wasn't singing that to myself most of the day yesterday. " I really don't like it, rock the kasbah rock the kasbah."
4th April 2011

Rock the Kasbah, Rock the kasbah. sorry I couldn't resist repeating the old 80's tune.
4th April 2011

Thank you very much. I am glad that people are enjoying them.

Amazing Race
Ok Ted, pack your bags and let's hit the Amazing Race. But seriously, yes things are going well. Seems like I always get nice weather in the first stop on my travels and then rain and gray skies from then on. Here's hoping the weather improves a bit.
4th April 2011

Hi B, Looks and sounds like everything is going well despite the card thiefs best efforts. Really am enjoying the pictures and descripions from your travels. You might be getting good enough at this traveling thing to team up with me on The Amacing Race show. I guess I mean drag me along w/ you on The Amazing Race since my version of travel is more like driving to work everyday. Have fun and be safe. Ted

Hi B, I am so glad you are having a great time!Of course we knew you would. Everything looks so beautiful, the photos and the food. That ATM incident seems a bit scary of course! The weather looks gorgeous. I am jealous. Have some more fun and be safe. Miss you lots, K

Wow! I had no idea how smooth these thieves can be when you are traveling. I am glad you realized what had happened so quickly and had not money to be taken in the account. What an adventure you are having. I am glad to "be along".

Time and time again, I am just tickled pink to have you in my life and to share our dirty little secrets, laughs, and juicey stories.

Just to Clarify
I have to put a disclaimer that I did not eat all of that food. My goal was to sampler and try new things. Traveling alone, I can either order a few, or lots and not eat them all. I did make a good dent in them though. And thanks Ted, I am loving this weather. It sure is different than the sleet and rain.
