After going to bed at 1.30am I then awoke at 4.45 to go to the German Island of Sylt, off the coast of Denmark. Noone else had yet appeared so I woke up Chris and Cam and later we and Jakob staggered bleary eyed to the station, amazingly it was already light. Once we got to Altona where we had to change trains, we realised it was going to cost us 30 euro because we were travelling in peak time, whereas if we waited until 9.30am, some 3 hours, it would only cost 7.50 euro. So we waited for the later train, Chris somehow managed to get a little cafe to open up half an hour early for us. The beach was beautiful. It was a cute quite large beachside town but it cost 3.5 euro
