I am in a new city. Well, it is not that new, really. Sevilla is the port from which many of the early Spanish explorers set sail, including Columbus. Before that, it was a Muslim city (just as Córdoba was), and before that it was the Visigoths and the Romans. Heck, even I have been here before. In 2005 I enjoyed the hot weather and cool city parks. Today has been a different story. We have had rain all day long (an unusual event for Andalusia) and I can tell you that I am glad I decided to include an umbrella in my suitcase!
