Your new home? I saw "C.G." and I thought, hm, they've finally bought that house they talked about..."Chamberlin Getaway!" (Okay, 'Mitchell' didn't work here.)
And what a view!
More... Puffins? I want to see puffins! I've only ever read about them! And why don't we grow Marionberries here? Never heard of em! It just doesn't seem right that they should have those, and we don't!
Ha! The rocks all white with bird droppings reminds me of the poster that says: "Angry birds...not so funny in real life, are they?" Okay dumb, but whatcha expect from a brain dead nut case like moi?
Wonderful! Very interesting journey to say the least. Still enjoying the pictures as well as the very informative narration of each daily event. Heat index here is 105F today so send some of that overcast and cooler temperatures to Texas.
Ah, I can almost smell the ocean! It's delightful, reminds me of home, without the sunsets...it's still amazing that you're halfway across the world from us! So, fresh fish for linner? How about some OCTOPUS??
More memories Little did I realize ALL of the memories your trip would be stirring up for me, wonderful memories. I have to add, "Thank you so much". Now, your "horse parade, etc.", one. Memories of our trip to Cheyenne, Wyo., for their rodeo wk., finding ourselves accidently, camping w/the cowboys & cowgirls who were in the rodeo. Talk about a thrill for the kids. Um, 2 parents also.
Amazing views! You're definitely in the nosebleed section! The panorama leaves me speechless! The Clark's Nutcracker looks like a parrot to me (the untrained eye). I thought maybe you'd be trying hang gliding?
wow! Never get tired of looking at mountains - here and everywhere! Such lovely pictures. You two really help me begin the day with beauty. Thanks for sharing.
Ha! Never! I loved all gazillion pics! Amazing, incredible beauty! Especially loved the little animals, either golden squirrel my fave. I can't tell the diff between marmots and groundhogs. Guess you have to be there...lucky you. Thank you for the sweet pretty kitty tails.
Hi Marge and Will, We sure miss you here but we're enjoying the beautiful sights you are seeing. What incredible colors and vistas. Thanks for taking us along with you :) Love, Linda & Bruce
SNOW! I didn't expect to see snow capped mountains! That causes some cognitive dissonance in my brain! It's so hot here, how can there be snow? The temp must be really chilly. I miss winter! What gorgeous views!
Shorts & Snow You're bringing back more memories. Lisa was around 12, Eric, 6. They, nor Harold & I, could believe we had on shorts & surrounded by snow.
Whew! I was concerned, thinking you might have fallen off a cliff or something. What a trip you 2 are having. Much too much, FUN. You sure are missing LOTS of rain here.
This n that... Cape D doesn't look at all disappointing to me! I'm jealous of your weather! And look at all the steps you got on that boardwalk! Does the ocean make you want to just sail away? It's impressive!
