Faithful readers
I think you would have enjoyed it more if you went to a game that you cared a bit about the team. Glad you gave it a try.

Please take this away, McDonald's. You're better than this.

No, no
So many lobster rolls so little time. There are things McDonald's should not considered....and this is one of them.

Mobile devices
I had to chuckle that you were worried about your Texas shirt and yet everyone was probably too involed in electronic devices to notice...except one who didn't seem to care. Entertaining.

Your postings are inspiring! Travel to Pure Michigan #theperfectspotpuremichigan
WILLIAM! i love reading your posts, they are very inspiring and reminds me why traveling is such a good thing to do. The world is meant to be seen so go out and see it :) Thanks for sharing all of this information. One of my favorite things to do when traveling is also try new foods as well. The world has so many different types of food and we should go out of our comfort zone and try new things! Michigan has many great food places that i really enjoy! You should definitely take a trip sometime. Thanks for the info :) Kelly Whiteside http://bit.ly/1OjWidS

It's good that you met some nice people! Game attendance probably wasn't helped by the fact that the Hawks are 7-0 this year (and are traditionally mediocre to bad *and* lose to Northwestern...), and I have no idea when the 'Clones were last ranked. If it's not clear enough, we're Hawkeyes.

I don't particularly care to see this setup on a gas pump

1. Holy guacamole, Batman, I need to go to some of these places again as a grown up, and others for the very first time! What an amazing road trip you're on! 2. Rapid City is partnered with Apolda, which is like 15 minutes from here. The Apoldaer call it "Rabbit Zitty." 3. I'm not sure where you're headed in northern Iowa, but the Vesterheim (http://vesterheim.org) is really impressive for what it is. Laura Ingalls Wilder lived in Burr Oak (http://www.lauraingallswilder.us) as well. It wasn't included in the Little House series, though. Otherwise, Mason City is famous for stuff from the Music Man and has some Frank Lloyd Wright homes, too. Except for Rochester, southern Minnesota is a whole lot of nothing. Actually, most of Minnesota is a whole lot of nothing. It's gorgeous, though. Reminds me a lot of Finland. 4. How many photos have you taken of the Kum & Go?

Waiting on the Kum
I haven't seen any of those! I'll keep an eye out for sure, now that I know. And I'll definitely check out the Wright homes, since I think I'll have time for that, but I think the Vesterheim might be too far afield
