Leaving the East Coast and heading for home
Dear Judy and Rags, have enjoyed reading this blog because I can relate to a little bit of it. Will be glad when you arrive home so as you can take me to see the new baby !! I think you may run into a bit of rain coming West. Sat.. we are being told there's 100% of rain and Sun. 95%. So if the weather does as it usually does.....it's heading your way !! Looking forward to your return home, love Mum xx

Congrats on your new granddaughter!
Amazing you could learn of this and see her even though you're on the road. Also, lovely scenery and great photos in this stretch of your journey.

Hi Judy and Rags, sounds like you are having a wonderful time visiting your friends and eating some lovely food. The Passionfruit looks really delicious. How much were the Avocados there? I did a bit of shopping at IGA this morning and I noticed the price of one Avocado was an arm a leg and your first born !! Gee, you have been unlucky with the weather, but I suppose it gave you a chance to catch up with your Marking Judy. It would have been worse sitting Marking if the weather outside was glorious. !!! We have had very little rain so I hope you bring a few drops home with you. Stay safe driving home, love Mum XX

Sounds like you found a town more to your liking without too many shops. The food sounded worthwhile also. Happy travels

Rain
What a shame the rain spoilt what looked like some stunning views. But I dare say it could have been a lot worse.!! It gave you a chance to have a good rest though and do the jobs you have been putting off. I hope you are feeling much better now, Judy Summer is going slowly in Perth. It is forecast to reach 28c degs tomorrow, and i have to do some shopping !! Anything over 25c is to hot for me !!!. Nights are cool though and I am now off to bed to get warm. Take care,Love Mum xx

We spent two months in Australia but didn't make it to this town. Guess we'll need to consider going back some day.

Day Tour Tasmania · tour Tasmania with great expeditions
This is a great blog and Tassie is such a beautiful state and lovely place. Our tour started out really well organized. I went on the Port Arthur and Tasman Peninsula tour with a stop at the Tasmanian Devil Conservation Park.

Canberra
Hi Judy and Rags. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this Blog tonight. It sounds like you really enjoyed Canberra !! The Old Bus Depot sounds like the type of place I would be quite happy to investigate !! Glad to hear that you have had the work done on the car and van.Money you probably didn't want to spend but well worth it. Who looked after your Tooth Jude? Ned Kelly ? Or one of his Rellies ? What a rip off !! Thanks for the Birthday call. I received a lot of cards and a lot of Phone calls. I just feel a lot older now !! No real news from me, so i'm off to bed. Looking forward to your next Blog, love Mum.xx

Retirement
Quite a spontaneous decision in the end, but we have both been teetering on the edge for some time and just decided to do it. Had a great Easter at Windy with the new parents to be. Chris was very happy with the Salmon that he caught. He caught them to giveaway because we don't eat them. He was also very happy with a feed of Marron to take back home. Keep safe and continue to enjoy your trip. Sharyn & Neil xx

From Victoria to NSW
Enjoying reading your "Winning Blog" ! It all looks lovely in the photos. And weren't you lucky to see a Platapus ? I don't think I have ever seen a live Platapus, unless I saw one in a Zoo !! How did you feel when you woke up in your mini lake with all the rain water around you ? I would have been a bit scared !! We have has a bit of rain here in Perth over the last couple of days and more is expected along with cool nights and Temps. in the day time hovering around 23c/24c degrees. Very nice. Thanks for the phone call on my birthday. I went to Steve and Yvonne's for lunch, which was very nice. Then on Easter Monday I went to Pat's for lunch and we nattered all day. Then yesterday I went into HH and played Scrabble. Today I just feel very tired, so I won't ramble on here ! Take care, love Mum. xx PS: I read your Blog to your Dad on the phone Jude.
