Shame
MisterMunkey..the name says it all. Monkeys are famous for acting stupid & scratching thier butts in public. Reets blogs are honestly written & being fed drugs is far from paradise. Ur the ignoramous & should be ashamed of yourself for ur comments.

Mister Munkey - Needs rehab.
Just wondering why anyone would listen to a chimp anyway? Got to love someone that obviously takes so much time writing their make believe profile. Get real and stop being a muppet then your comments might be taken seriously. I would prefer an honest view from someone who does not hide behind a make believe imaginary friend. Thank you for such an honest report Marita!

Wow I think I got it... shame you two clearly didnt... me Ignoramus?! LOL coming from you... please!!! That 'hard working' crew should learn to look after their guests a little more and not feed them drugs unknowingly.. shame on Mai Pen Rai and its little cult following (ie you!)

Recommendations
Dear Reet, I am doing research and came across your so helpful notes about South East Asia. We are planning our so many times postponed dream trip to SEA (first time), including Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and we would like to ask you for recommendations if you don’t mind. 1. We are spending about 2 months in the region (From 22 Oct to Mid Dec), leaving Thai beaches/islands for the last 10 days. Based on exhausting research and pictures, we like Phang Nga Bay, Koh Mook, Rai Leh, Koh Lipe & koh adang. We’ll also visit Phi Phi. We try to avoid the “fish and chip/Italian” restaurants and crowds of party lovers, not our style (however we do like small bars, beach bars and the feeling to be close to a village with restaurants, etc). We go for the local taste if possible and beach hutch (although we know that we are in the touristic Thailand). Can you possible recommend your favorites? And how to reach them? we don’t mind travelling by bus/local transport. 2. Must dos in Bangkok? I looked at the temples, floating market, canals, china town and the famous noisy Road (don’t have the name with me now) and have 1 free day to wander around..Is it better to hire a guide or a tour? We may only spend 3-4 days and I don’t want to waste precious time. 3. Must dos in Chiang Mai/Northern Thailand (any trekking, cycling, villages in particularly?) Everyone mentions the Golden triangle, although I am not convinced, it looks very touristic for us… 4. We are crossing into Laos, is the 2 days Mekong river crossing worth the time? We may catch a local bus instead. Prefer to avoid flying and see more countryside instead 5. Is it worth going to Vang Vieng? I would be very disappointed to find crowds of teenagers getting drunk, every day counts. The idea is to spend time in luang prabang (+ days village trek) + Vientiane. 6. Any particular tour/place to visit in Saigon/Mekong River? Thanks a lot for any information that you can give us. Anabel

brilliant
Hi Reet. I have been following your blog for a month or so now. I am heading off on my first RTW trip in September and going it alone, so its great to hear others tales and get tips on where to stay etc. So I may have a lot of questions coming your way over the next month ... I hope thats ok! Could you tell me what the name of Chea's fbook page is so i can get in touch with him. I am travelling India, Cambodia, Vietnam, then onto east coast Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and California. Can't wait and hope my tales will be just as exciting as yours. Esme x

Love it!
Reet please ignore the ramblings of the anonymous one, clearly got too much time in their empty lives. Great blog as usual, looks and sounds like a great trip so far, the only thing im not liking about your updates is the uncontrollable urge its giving me to book my next journey SE Asia !!! The Elephant pictures in particular are A MAZING, really capture the magic of these creatures and the fun you were all having. Looking forward to the ko phangan updates, are you heading to Ko Tao? That is my favourite of all the thai islands (and i dont even dive) its such a beautiful and tranquil island. Cheers, Gaz

Anonymous gutless
Dear anonymous, if you are so offended by such an act enough to make commentary on this blog, then why do you not put your name to it? It seems by reading your comments that you actually have no idea about Thai culture or Buddhist customs and beliefs. I think you should keep your outdated opinions to yourself unless you are prepared to own up to who you are. The comments are otherwise meaningless.
