Full moon lanterns
Hi Reet forgot to add to the last post, glad you were there for the lantern festival as this was something I really wanted to see. Had to laugh over all the photos, poor McKay! xx

Go McKay!
Very funny read Reet, I think McKay deserves a big cheer for effort! Great read as usual, especially as you are now in Phu Quoc. I went to Stellas at Henley Square for lunch today and paid $75 for two. Bet my meal was nowhere near as good as your $40 deal. Off to see the rest of the photos. xx

I'm with you!!! no excuse for this kind of service.... regardless how "late" you showed up. This is not a cafeteria. I want a good breakfast served when I show up. I think I'll reconsider Pinta Gold. Thanks

WTF...LMAO
Hello Girls. Hanoi sounded wonderful....even if just 4 the icecream, the pix looks soooo yummy! And Reet, do they have cabins with 2 beds?? I'd be wide awake keeping vigil too. Keep the blogs coming, loving it. Be safe, Cheers, Lynn

Now I REALLY want to go to Hanoi. My aussie friend in Bangkok raves about it for all the same reasons. That coffee ... yum!

Addicted
HOOKED on reading blogs and looking at photos. Keep coming back to re-read and re-read again. McKay's little sister horrified by tales of eating crickets; thankfully I had photos to prove it! Ice cream, coffee, (NOT Weasel), and spa sound heavenly. Sorry about your fall, Poopsie-looks like quite a bruise. Maybe consider 1st floor rooms only??!! Thanks for blogging and the glimpses of all of the exotic experiences you're living. LOVE and Kisses, McKay's "Mum"

No coffee for me!
Reet, if we actually do manage to catch up for coffee I'm not risking having it at your house in case it's that weasel stuff!!! Yukky - didn't think it could get any more gross until I read on and saw the stir fry crickets! I have been really enjoying reading about all your 'adventures' and of course the great photos. Good on you both for trying so many different things. Keep safe and keep having fun. Lesley xxx

Hangover
I am glad you are meeting and enjoying new friends. What a trip you are having with the good, bad and some con-artist's along the way. It's a good job that you are both seasoned traveler's. I got a little sick reading and looking at some of the photos. The reason,"been there-done that".At my age my poor old body can't take it.Though as McKay knows once in a while I think I can still handle it.{McKay its' so funny.I just wrote this and now I see your mother's message}.We know, if I get loaded !!! It's with your mother. Enjoy,Enjoy you only young once!!!! Luv Patty. Pat

Re: Hangover Hell
I am 54 and I have STILL to learn, despite the fact that hangovers get more devistating and longer lasting with age! Count on having a few more as long as you continue to hang out with my Darling daughter, who is SO much FUN to party with!! Love and kisses, Girls!

Dear Anonymous
When I pay THAT sort of money I do expect my breakfast to NOT be cold... and if you read anything about my travels you would realise I am not difficult or demanding! BUT when I spent money for an expensive tour I clearly expect SOME level of service... Thank you for you comment though.. You are clearly affiliated with Columbus Cruises and I will be sure to advise those on Trip Advisor and other sites of my experience.
29th October 2009

Well, what a difficult and demanding girl! Getting up late (without telling the staff to awake!) and complaining about cold breakfast! Definitely the company is not expecting this kind of customers.
