Hi Reet! I could have told you to avoid the water puppet show, I also hated it and coudn't believe how boring it was!!! I personally didn't like Hanoi at all, I couldn't wait to get out of the place. I had been karate kicked by a local man and my friend was punched in the back of the head by a bloke on a motorbike. I found the people in general to be unpleasant in Hanoi...........the rest of Vietnam I loved! Enjoy xo

I'm afraid the hassle in vietnam never stops, there's some great places to visit and and great sights (halong bay included) but the peoples aggresive attitude towards visitors totally ruins it.
