Well I have finally made it to Bali. So far haven done too much. (Sorry for typos but this comp sticks!!) The first few days I spent at the hotel in Legion which is outside of Kuta where all the Aussies hang out (Auzzies is how we are suppose to say it!) They are a fun bunch so had a lot of fun but never really saw much. However I am in Ubud now which is the art center of Bali/Indonesia. I was expecting a smaller town but with it being such a popular tourist destination it is a busy place. First let me say it is hot here!! Also the food is so cheap I mean a meal runs about 2 or 3 dollars. The people are really friendly and always smiling even if they ... read more

Here I am back in hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai, quite a difference after the quiet pace of Pai. However I am getting ahead of myself. I finished up in Pai with a night out with a few women I had met in Pai. It started out with dinner when one of the women an Italian women named Steph suggested a small drinking place for a cocktail, little did I know at first what kind of cocktail. When we cruised our bikes up to the place I was a bit reluctant to want to go in as it looked very simple and for the locals. She ordered us a round of some type of local drink (scary in itself) at first she mentions it is a type of herbal drink so wanting to try most ... read more

Well I think I have managed to get over the jet lag so feeling pretty good today. Enjoying myself in Pai even though it isn't quite the little sleepy village it use to be but still a very pretty place to spend a few days. Made a friend yesterday from England named Yasman which has been fun as it is her first trip here so have been showing her around on my motor bike {she doesn't drive}. Yesterday went up to the waterfalls which were very fast and full of water this being the rainy season. So far in the day only a few drops but nothing major. Last night it really poured which is a nice sound in these grass roofed bungalows I am staying in . Raining or not the pool calls my name ... read more

Well here I am in Pai Thailand! After arriving in Thailand I flew North to Chiang Mai for one night then headed to one of my favorite places Pai . If you have ever been here you know what I mean. This place is so laid back that you just never want to leave. I Plan on staying for a few days and just chill and get over the jet lag. I was lucky to get into one of my favorite little guesthouses (only $9 a night!!) called Pai Chan. They have the most amazing gardens and a very sweet swimming pool. The bungalows aren't bad either. They were so nice they gave me the one I always love to stay in which is in the back with a small pond overlooking the lush rice ... read more

Well this is it. Tonight I leave for Seattle then Taipai to Bangkok. It takes about 24 hours from PDX to BKK. Yes it is a long trip but you know your somewhere else when you step off that plane. Whew hoo! Anyway I am really excited and nervous even though I have made this part of the trip more times than I want to count. Today I am just packing, hanging out with my hubby (who is really just watching football) and enjoying being in my adorable little house. A Gorgeous day here which makes it hard to leave but leave I will. So I will make every effort to be current and interesting and most of all have some fun with this blog. So please except my advance apologies for misspelled words, bad grammer ... read more
