Spring certainly hasn't sprung! Hi Tim, Glad you and Sue are settling into the US of A and having fun. Great call to go to Washington, we keep missing it. Interesting to hear your comments, all so familiar - the homeless situation is serious and everywhere in the States. We are in our second week in Louisville now, and certainly looking forward for winter to disappear, pretty wet and cold here. We drove from Myrtle Beach to Louisville over two days and drove through light snow, and just missed a tornado. Stopped for lunch and while eating one of the servers quietly told us about the nearby tornado, and if it comes this way just hide in the toilet!! Loving being with the family and bonding with Valor and Oakley Lin, also attending some of Sean's classes - some great teaching. Enjoy the rest of the tour, enjoying the blog. cheers, Love from Graham and Vee.
Tim the writer at his best! Love it, Tim! Never ordinary or straightforward....your blogs are fascinating and unusual. Always a different take, a different perspective. Quite right about the airline travel endurance, but, as you point out so tantalisingly at the end, the destination justifies the means - can’t wait to read your take on New York, New York!
Traveling is great your right. Literally just got back from an Expedition Cruise starting in Durban going through the Mozambique Chanel visiting many uninhabited Islands, Madagascar and finishing up in Seychelles and then back to Durban (We thought often about you Tim and the fly fishing opportunities we encountered) I have not tried your blogging aspect but instead develop an overhead presentation and video instead.. Antarctic. India to Greece and now the Indian ocean islands will be followed by the North West Passage next year!! Must compares notes when you get back. John
Just do it! To all those South Africans who think New Zealand is too far away to visit, I agree with Tim, just do it, it's a beautiful country and worth the trouble (and expense)!
See you back home on the waters of Leliekloof Pleased you both had a wonderful trip. Back in SA, you will now have a chance to really test the quality of your fly fishing equipment. Looks like it was just excess baggage in NZ.

Sad your trip is over Been so good reading your blogs Tim.. We will one day do a similar trip but without the fishing, not that you caught too many on your trip. Far more trout in Tassie and they do get caught.
Awesome Hi Sue and Tim. Love reading your blogs. So well written you feel you are there with you. All sounds amazing! All well here just had 3 days 35 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the next stage of your trip. Love Helen and Les
Thanks Hi Les & Helen Thanks for your message. We have been in regular contact with Adi and Sarah and they have had a bit of a tough time with little Benji...but seems to be much better now. Take care. Love Tim & Sue
A great post most interesting, clearly evident that the sightseeing is spectactular! I thought an afternoon parked at bradonar witnessing the unpacking would have been fun! worried about the fishing or lack of catch! continue enjoying this special trip!
Bradrona Hi John Thanks for message. Hope my post on the bra laden fence does not lead to new tourist category...the guys in long raincoats peering at the fence.
