Thanks Team 1 Just a note to thank you all for the brilliant journal entries. Even those of us who have been away ourselves have been unable to pass an internet cafe without popping in for the latest instalment! Not long now before we can enjoy the full blown edition supported by digital enhancement! Enjoy your much deserved R and R! Love Kate I
Dear Team 1 - It has been wonderful following all your moves in Vietnam while we were in London and have not stopped doing so here in beautiful Barbados. have not seen any update since the one on 31st July. It has been long.
Can we have an update soon please.
Awaiting your safe return to England as well, we will reach there just in time to receive you all.

Someone's missing! So here it is, another birthday. So the lovely family make their way from Sutton to Barnet to help me celebrate (I'll have just the one drink this year, one barrel should do me fine!) BUT somthing's missing, or should I say SOMEONE'S missing!!!
Emily S I know you have a week left and you are enjoying yourself and having such an experience that I cannot properly imagine...I just want you to know I love what you are doing in V'nam, but would love it even more if you were here to help me celebrate :(
Enjoy your final week, although I know there's many eagerly awaiting your return!! Love Nina xxx
Travel journal Dear Team 1, Just to say how much we have enjoyed and appreciated all your wonderful journal entries. We never expected to hear so often and have really loved reading your informative and amusing entries. We're sure that you must have had some ups and downs along the way but you have kept the news very upbeat and spared us any problems. Can't wait to see you all again - even with your inflated egos - although sorry for you that your trip is coming to an end. After all the planning and anticipation it seems to have gone so quickly. Hope that the trek has gone ok and make the most of every minute of your r and r. Lots of love and good wishes to you all, Fiona and Neil.
Not long now our little girlies....... Not long now before us parents see your beautiful faces again - you see we tell you all the time but you never believe us and tell us that we are biased, no not us!

Have a wonderful 8 yes EIGHT more days

Happy trekking! Just to wish you all good luck in your trek - may your legs be strong, your burgeons seem light and there be "no dramas" with blisters. Sounds like the scran should be good anyway! Thank you all for your wonderful diary entries - family and friends have thoroughly enjoyed keeping up with all your adventures. Love to all (especially Emily K!)
PS Happy mincing in Halong Bay
"Lots" I was entreated not to use this site to post a message so I shall remain anonymous and hope my esoteric message will remain unidentified save by its intended recipient. I have read all the girls’ daily postings with great interest. How well, and entertainingly, you all write, and what (for the most part) fun you all seem to be having. News of, and from, my own daughter was particularly interesting. I mean to ask her one or two questions later. Anyway, may the hard work and good fun continue. I’m sure all your lives will be greatly enriched by all this. I wonder how Mick feels (is he the vertically challenged guy, or was that someone else??) surrounded by all these females. More daunting than anything he has done in the army, I’m sure. Hope you don’t have any unwelcome guests in your hammocks and that you get through the trek in one piece, and enjoy your last week.
I shall look forward to the next diary page.

Spanish Adventure Yo Mrs F! Good to read your messages, and all the other girls (Hello other girls!!). I could make some witty comment about how long it must have taken you to write that message but it would take even longer for you to reply so I'll give it a miss!! How can you be having trouble emailing after my expert tuition?!
I've just got back from Spain - 22 hours on the coach!! Had a brilliant time, water parks, theme parks, seedy spanish clubs, beach, sun, oh and music (bit of an afterthought!!)
Have come back with sligtly shorter hair after a visit to the the aforementioned club (how dare you suggest alchohol was involved!!).
Off to Devon with the lads this weekend and then Ill be working at the Big Sheep, might go to Brighton in the next few days to see the girls from France, otherwise not much else!!
Glad to hear you're having a good time and even more glad to hear that you're having to work hard!!
Speak to you soon, regards to everyone!
From your blatantly far better looking and more intelligent son.....

Hello everyone - good to be kept uptodate with your news - Didn't expect to hear from you "in transit"- pleased you're adapting to the local facilities - you wouldn't want things too easy, now would you? Let's hope the wildlife including the chickens behave themselves - you could always try charming/silencing them with your singing !!
Good luck with the trek,
Sheila
Hi Guys Hi everyone I just wanted to let you know that we're all thinking of you and are glad to hear that you're having a good time. Hope the trek goes well and that the blisters aren't to bad. Love from Faye
Ambika's Mortal fear of the feathered friends I thought Ambika was scared of the ducks (dead ones) and not the chickens. We have been enjoying your journals immensely. Keep it coming and enjoy every moment of it.
