The Danube - beautiful!
The Danube may not look exactly blue, but it is never less beautiful from the shots you took. You and Jackie are the 5th youngest on board?? What a hoot that is... LOL! Knowing you both, I'm sure you have made many, many friends who will last forever. So you got a rub-down on board, eh? And Jackie was top side watching the Iron Gates unlock? Need to know more!

absolutely breathtaking
This comment is for this blog and the one before...since they came at the same time. It's wonderful that you're getting to visit all of these places. This is not going to leave too many places you HAVEN'T been! Let's see...how about going to Tibet, uh, South Pole, China....well, you get the idea!

Belgrade
When I was there right after the curtain fell the place was full of beautiful women trying to make a living. Three guys with me on the trip and I had a nice dinner with a couple of beers each. I paid the tab. It came to $11. I would guess it's a bit more expensive now. We saw Tito's grave. Not very impressive. Jack

more good stuff!
Going on a pre planned trip has lots of interesting people to meet. That's what Ma, Daddy, Dianne and I did...the AMEX tour was good and we covered lots of territory. Putting one's luggage outside the door is par for the course....good memories though. I wonder if you'll meet anyone from Georgia? xox

Sailing!
Delighted that you made it to Bulgaria... boy, the sailboat trip sounds super and can't wait to hear about your day sailing - which I know you love! Tell us about the wines - are they good? Reds better than whites? send photos of the boat and your room!
25th August 2010

Scary!
Sounds like your day was interesting and fun.. the weather is holding for you as well, as they usually get lots of rain there. In your next blog, explain how life is on the boat... would like to see photos of the boat, your room, etc. Do you get all the wine you can drink on the boat? Only the winos would ask that question, right? Keem em coming, love your blog!
