The flowers are beautiful!
Glad your second day was nice, sunny and interesting!! I enjoy seeing photos of the people as well - smetimes it tells a story more than buildings, etc. I love the tress and greenery behind you as you sat in the restaurant - can't wait to hear about your visit to the castle! Have fun...

Sounds incredible
Love the pictures and your blog........we are so happy you all are having a great time. Isn't it amazing to see how these leaders spent money on themselves while the common folks were starving. Same thing we saw in China...

Civita di is fantastic
We were there a few days ago.We also have a sat nav but we have NASA's Houstonan mission control as our sat nav so it is los of fun driving arround with that. We find if we do not do as NASA says we get punishes and taken down bad road or up hills if we do not do what we are told.

Mother's Birth House!
Yes, I recall that Mother pointed to the front bedroom on the left, when facing the house as the room where she was actually born. The doctor who delivered her came to the house for the delivery. She clearly remembered it the day we drove up. We actually went to the door and met the man and his daughter who were living there then. I'm glad you got to see it and I'm super glad you found that it was the correct house that Mother pointed out to us. Keep em coming!
