Hey Steph:
I have been to Nanaimo and am just catching up with your blogs. We purchased all the meds on your list. Will ship it out tomorrow, hope it helps. Cannot get 1% cortate without a prescription, but we got 1/2% cortate cream. Don't know if you're able to track a parcel, if you have internet you can. I will e-mail you the tracking number when I send it off tomorrow.
Love to you all.
the party i fully appreciate you sharing the range of your experiences. you have certainly eloquently captured an all too familiar feeling. love and light to you and the kiddies!
keep it up, white angel you are wonderful for simply stepping up to whatever comes your way. my prayers are with you and the kids as you continue the journey.
Christmas Hey Stephanie
I'm just thinking about Christmas presents and I want to give meaningful gifts this year. How does one donate to your orphanage?
Wow, beautiful pictures, I truly didn't recognize Marrin. Keep the pictures and words coming. It must be strange being away from all that is known and some of the comforts of home. We know we don't need all the comforts we have here, we are spoiled in the western world. But internet and connection are soooo important. If you can call sometime I would love to hear your voice, but the e-mails are great.
We are all here, anxiously awaiting your news. I check msn several times a day, but realize your time difference too, and now we know your problems with connection.
Your observations at the orphanage give an insight and make it so much more personal. Its hard to imagine what those children have sufferred and have to suffer. Who pays for their care and the physcologist etc. Is it the government? Other world organizations?
Do these children have any toys of their own, like teddy bears to cuddle. Reason I ask is we have a lot of leftover teddies and little stuffys from our days of retail in Alberta. Is it possible to ship stuff over there and how long would it take. Let me know if anything like that would help. Always thinking about you. Love you lots. Mom
I am relieved to hear from you after such a long time. Glad to hear you are safe. I am overwhelmed after reading this last entry, I see how it could be a shock, and now you are actually living the life. I also know you will settle in and when the initial shock wears off you will make the most of the situation and I know you will make a difference to all there. Love and hugs to you all. I miss you all so very much. Love Mom
Monkey Nuggets Hi Guys,
Miles - how did the monkey taste? I've heard it's pretty good.
Marrin - it sounds like you are having fun! That's a cute picture of you behind your mum.
Stephanie - looks great - seems you have all settled in really well. I love the pictures. Anywyas, i'm off to visit the cat trio in Nanaimo this weekend. I'll say hello from you all.
Take care. Love the reading!

Good For you I find this blog site so interesting and when I read yours I had to comment - you are doing something thousands of women wish they could do. Hope you don't mind but I will be following your journey. GOOD LUCK
Lovely pictures, especially Marrin's pictures of the boats. Glad its fun. Keep the pics and journals coming. I love it.
Today here it is snowing, and a new Pacific Storm pushing in this afternoon, high winds, snow turning to rain. At least rain will feel normal. Aren't you glad you're there and not here!!
Miss you already Hi Steph, Marrin and Miles - hope you guys are enjoying yourselves.
Your commentary makes me laugh - we look forward to your pics, quips and insights! Thanks for making us feel like we can escape our daily lives and go along with you on your big adventure. It is still snowing here, all the schools were closed yesterday. Hope your immune system kicks in and your throat feels better soon. Take care!
Forever in awe..... Wow .glad you all made it safely! I have been keeping track of your flight, as much as humanly possible from one’s computer. I am incredibly proud of all three of you. You are an amazing family!
Take care .get some rest and rehydrate.
Thinking of you always!
Great White North SF,
Hi. Wow! Was I ever suprised to see the snow pics on your recent blog entry. Crazy stuff and of course untimely to boot. What can you do though? I'm thinking of you, your kiddies and will perform my special sun dance for you in hopes that BC Ferries is able to transport you safely to the mainland for your much anticipated holiday.
Thanks for keeping us all posted. I'm very excited for you. Take things as they come -- roll with it -- and the purpose of this adventure will become clear. The exerience shall certainly benefit and enrich your family and those of us living vicariously through your blog.
Safe journies my friend,
lee
Beautiful THis is beautiful Steph!
Glad you guys made it home, safe, and off the roads.
I hit the turf on my bike, and when I see the tracks of "nobby tires" I feel like I am at home, happy, and at peace with myself. Might also be the snow: East Coast style.
Love ya!
A.
If I wait any longer to be a part of the life that I live inside my head....if I wait until my children are older, if I wait until my bank account is full, if I wait until my degree is complete, the cats leave home, the family approves...If I don't follow my dreams today, right now, then I am not living the life I was meant to live.
Ready or not.
