Wow! Hi Carolyn, I read your blog and had a few chuckles. I can so empathize with how you are feeling right now. I had the same thoughts and feelings when i landed in South Korea. The similarities are funny. My brother lives in Tiawan. He was telling me about the Typhoon they are having the other day when i talked to him on the phone. You will have an amazing time, keep an open mind. Enjoy every day! Glad to hear you are safe and sound.

Oh Carolyn!! I am so excited about following your adventure on your blog...and inspired too. You're doing something I plan to do some day soon. We will certainly miss you at band! Murray, Linda, Caroline,Erin and I had a fantastic time at band camp. Maybe you can come next year. It's four days of hard work but a very magical place where you hear music everywhere you turn. No one ever asks you what you DO but rather, what do you PLAY?! I love it! And...we were all on the youngish side in a sea of white and grey hair. Anyway, I'll miss seeing you at band but looking forward to hearing all about it when you get back over some wine! Safe and amazing travels!! Love Jeanette xo
