Can't wait
Hi, looking forward to following your adventures once more. Love Thailand, but have never done any island hopping there. Recently returned from Brazil (where some 8year old child ripped off my bracelet while walking along Copacabana pavement; we were stopped by pavement seller trying to sell me a handbag, later realised he was part of it ) and Argentina. 2 weeks time we're off to Italy and around the eastern Med but won't be s warm as you2. Have a fabulous trip and I look forward to reading your adventures once more

I really enjoy reading about your travels, best bit was when your husband stopped the car, got out, and walked down the road to get a better shot of the bear...loved that!!! We're off on an Alaska cruise in September so hope to see bears then. Looking forward to your next adventure

Canadian trip
Congratulations. We all enjoyed your journey and will miss your blogs and photos. In addition to bears, eagles and orcas, turquoise waters, Emerald Lake, bridal water falls and Ice Parkway will stay with me......and i’ve never been there. Strange to think you are back in Spain. Thanks xx

Very pleased your last few days in Vancouver with Jake and Julie were so enjoyable. Steam clock! I’m still wondering ‘why would you’. ‘Because you can’ I guess?! It’s an interesting image with steam rising from the top. Railway station - grand. Totems - fascinating. Sea planes - lovely. Make the most of tomorrow (Friday). From the sound of things you are heading back to a baking Spain where temps are in the mid 40s. Take care and safe journey. XX

We are off island-hopping in Thailand for the month of February. We shall leave home on the 1st of the month and return on 29th (an extra day for Leap Year)! Our journey will be from Alicante to Barcelona by train, then two flights, the first from Barcelona to Doha and the second from Doha to Phuket, both with Qatar Airways. Although this will be our forth visit to the "Land of Smiles", we haven't been there for eleven years and plan to visit islands we haven't seen before. In 2009, we travelled overland from Singapore to the island of Langkawi, Northern Malaysia, in the Southern Andaman Sea. ... full info
