So grateful you both are having the time you deserve. Interesting about the filters...I am sure you have asked someone, but maybe your friends from the English Inn may have some ideas?? Or go old school and use a paper towel to make do?? Love that you both just sit and observe the happenings of daily life, was hoping to see the pigeon whisperer :) Your meals always are so inviting and delishness, as I begin my day with "french pressed coffee" and a english muffin!! lol !!! Dee, I do say your Italian studs are rather nice eye candy... but there is something to be said about the one American old fart!!! Cheers, until the next entry

Now you know why the drip machine sits unused, no filters! But when you can get espresso that looks so amazing, who needs it! And who were these Italians studs lol? Look like another beautiful day and maybe you can become pigeon whisperers before you leave. Hope you have another fun day today!

Happy Easter! The view of the sea is spectacular. You saw some beautiful sites and had more amazing food and dessert! See if you can get the recipe for that limoncello, we need to make it! 😉

Recharged
It seems like your batteries are recharged. All those wonderful food pics look so yummy. I was surprised that Mt. Vesuvius is visible in the background. Have fun!

What a sight to witness...
Most definitely and eerie sighting at such an early hour, Jeni...thanks for the explanation which makes sense. Mitch I like the looks of your meal (scallops are a favorite of mine). The food porn is making me extremely jealous! Your 'peek a boo" photo of the gulf is inviting! Continue to enjoy the days.

Odd Sights
I can imagine your surprise at the white robes! It sounds like you are acclimating to your surroundings. As always, the food looks fantastic. You will be experts in no time!

That is one eerie way to to wake up in the morning and I had to see why they dressed like that. Turns out it is to make it clear that everyone ( young, old, rich, poor) is equal in the eyes of God. The lemon custard looks amazing! Hope the weather stays nice and you have a lovely Italian Easter.

Chilling literally and making the best of it
I am so glad that the weather didn't get the best of you. The balcony looks very inviting and I am sure the days ahead will have many laughs there. Aaaaahhhhh, getting your feets wet...
This is exactly how your day should have been...just casually done. Love the Cathedrals, such beauty always!! Both your meals look delish ( and yes, I may be a tad hungry). Look out for them crazy drivers, reminds me of California and the motorcycles passing us between two cars, doing 80 on the highway!!! Talk about anxiety!!!! Continue to relax, take in the live entertainment outside, and laugh. :)
