CATCHING UP After a very long couple months, tax season is over and I was able to hop on and catch up with the blog. Glad it finally cleared up for you, albeit, remember a rainy day in Italy is better than a beautiful day at home :) Love seeing all the pictures. Dee, proud of you for climbing to the top for lunch but I didn't see pics of the view from up there - can you do it again? LOL I would have mailed coffee filters, do they not have amazon there? off to work! Love you both.
Rain Rain Go Away! So sad to hear about the unfortunate Spring weather! I am sending sunshine vibes and positive thoughts for better weather soon! La Favorita looks so lush with greenery everywhere. The rain must help it be so healthy. Love you!
Italy takes April showers brings May flowers seriously, it stinks it keeps raining on your parade. The restaurant is stunning with all greenery. After your gelato photos, had to get some too! Hoping you get some warm sunshine soon.
Sardines?! Hmmmmm,,,, I don't know about those sardines. I'll try anything once. The calamari and other dishes look great though. Glad you are able to work around the raindrops.
Enough should be Enough!! The weather god needs to get over whatever it is that is bothering it!!! You did go to Italy correct, Not England???? Seriously... at least you are keeping spirits up, plenty of people watching, incredible food, and drinks, having good conversations and laughs with temporary new friends. Love to you both and keep positive... for this weather shall hopefully pass soon!! On the food note...Dee more power to ya, not sure how I feel about the sardines... just saying!
Chilly Conditions = Comfort Solutions Seems that the weather is making sure you both make time to rest, and keep the shenanigans to a limit, lol!!! Seriously though hoping for some sunshine in the very near future so that the exploration may continue and my history lessons as well ;) That little restaurant across the way is quite the find (convenient, friendliness, incredible food and drinks, atmosphere). I believe you are creating more long term friendships ;) Stay safe and look forward to the next adventures of Dee and Mitch!!
It’s too bad the weather hasn’t been cooperating for you, especially on laundry days. Looks like you are making the best of it with food and drink! You can never go wrong with people watching!
So lucky this gem is across the street. Nothing like fresh pasta, so delicious. They are such a cute couple and I suspect you have tried everything on the menu by the time you leave. Hoping for no rain and warmer weather today so you can get into some mischief. 😉
So glad your visit went smoothly, and very enjoyable. These are the beautiful moments treasured. The pottery is amazing, shame can't bring them home on the plane :) Lizard is as large as some of the ones down south, didn't think for some reason they would be so big there, dunno... Rest up from your visit.
What a beautiful visit with Laura, love the photo of her waving goodbye. Happy you got to see her and have a great time. That cake for the soccer team is incredible and the pottery is beautiful. The Italian lizard is adorable sitting with the flowers. Have a wonderful day today. 😘
Nothing wrong with alittle downtime... greetings friends, glad your ventures are going well. Hoping the weather is nice for your visit with your friend and you are able to share lots of laughs :) That cat is beautiful. Dee, boyfriend #3 is rather sweet too!! Until the next posting, stay safe and much loves.
Your lunches looked amazing. I like Italian boyfriend #3, good choice Dee. What a photo of the cat, beautiful until you look at their eyes. Almost like, get out of my garden. Enjoy your guest that will be arriving.
Laundry....now that would be an issue!!! Geez...my family would be in wondermint as to what they would do if laundry took that long here (as I just begin a large load), this would definitely be an issue had!!! Dee hope you packed those sassy panties and well Mitch you as well, lol!???!!! Mitchell !!!! that gelato looks AMAZING!!!!! The photos of the markets always just are so inviting. Love that you both just immerse yourselves into the local community.
What Lemons You Have Look at those lemons so colorful. Gelato looked delicious..flowers were beautiful. We can’t imagine no dryer but you have to go with the punches.People watching is so…much fun! Enjoy
Ooohh gelato! I would make that a daily stop. The flowers are beautiful and Mitch you look so pretty with the bouquet! Nothing like your undies hanging on the balcony to dry, hope they are dry by now! 😉 Have a great day today.❤️
