....memories of a lifetime... to see such wonders of the world... to share such moments with friends made afar ..... these are what shall be treasured for always... grateful the experiences you shared with us, it just amazes me how these temples were built and yet remain.... definite wonders of the world. the meal sounds to be right up my way.... yums all the way.
What a handsome waiter!! Looked like another great day but a bit frigid. Another scrumptious meal. It is a Winter Odyssey. I didn't see a snow angel. HAHA
I can’t believe what a winter you guys have encountered. I am proud of you for not letting it stop you from exploring and when you do explore you hit it full force. I want to learn more about Sisi too, she sounds fascinating. The chocolate shop looked delicious and I would had a hard time leaving. Seeing the horse and carriage outside the beautiful white building reminds me of a scene from the movie Oliver. Enjoying the blog so much. ?????
What's up with Wiener Man he looks so real? You both look great under the umbrella. WOW on the Wienerschnitzel . I can taste it right now Yum!!! What a beautiful Cathedral.Hoping tomorrow is beautiful even if it snows. Love you
That dessert looks amazing!! Mitch, I’m so impressed with you speaking German after almost 50 years and having it all come back to you. It definitely looks like a different world over there with all the ornate buildings. Looking forward to seeing more. Let me know if you see Ernestine;)
Francesco has a beautiful piece of property. The apartment looks quite cozy, but very modern. Dee I do love the helmet!! So nice to meet such interesting people along the adventure. Good memories had by all. Miss you both see you soon.
Wish we had a garden like Francesco’s! Their garden is amazing and they have chickens! Love the apartment in Vienna so mid-century mod! Ah yes the sad state of Trump World, I think puzzled is a nice way of putting it! : p can’t wait to see the sights of Vienna. ?
A day with Francesco is always enjoyable! What a beautiful church. Oh yes I do remember that restaurant and the food was so... delicious what a great way to end the day. Enjoy your travels to Vienna. We are so enjoying the blog and Mitch would make a very interesting tour guide.
Are the monk skulls available at the gift shop? I will take one! Another fabulous day of food and sightseeing. The church frescoes are beyond stunning, the details are gorgeous. I would have a broken neck looking up at them constantly. Safe travels tomorrow to Vienna.
Glad to see you had such a great tour guide. You will need to return the favor when Francesco and his family come to Daytona. Cool pics again and such great history. Mitch you should have your Blogs published as a tour guide for many to experience your trek(s) over the years.
Such a nice few days y'all have had!! I am glad the weather has started to clear up a little bit, the views are quite beautiful with a blue sky. The temples nevertheless never cease to amaze me. I am becoming anxious to see one up close and personal myself. So happy you got to spend time with Francesco and his family. They seem so sweet and the kids are just adorable. Keep adventuring! miss you lots!!
The temples are beautiful. It was amazing that you could walk and climb on them. From the pictures it looked like you were the only ones there. What a beautiful day looked like clear skies finally!!! The kids have gotten so big what a fun day.
