The temples are so impressive. I can’t imagine how they seem when you are so close to them. It looked like a great day for exploring. And the fun food stops where everything looked tasty and delicious! I loved the buffalo, I want to hug them! ;)
Yeah, the weather is finally getting better! The food looks amazing and yummy especially the gelato and cafe latte. The lemon trees are so impressive and no I don’t think you can do too many lemons. You didn’t try to tickle the clown’s bellybutton? ?

..now thats amore' ... Love the heart shaped pizza!! Hope to find the weather has cleared up for your travels about the area, grounds are stunning and would be a magnificent place for a wedding. Interesting to find what becomes of the property inherited....
AAAHHHH Sorrento!!!! so very happy arrived safely and looking quite chic! Always great to see familiar faces, and the apartment looks very nice! (hopefully the breakers don't keep flippin) beautiful views, and I am sure you shall have beautiful memories!
wise choices!! glad the travels have been memorable for the right reasons as of yet!! glad to hear of your choice to forgo the "90 steps", that would most not be a pleasant experience. looking forward to yet more history lessons!!!
Citrus & More Food I seriously would just love to reach into the pictures of the citrus grove and pluck some! So vibrant and fresh! I can only begin to imagine savoring their freshness! Speaking of savoring....II Convivio seemed like yet another culinary treat for you guys. The 5 star meals both of you have enjoyed since yesterday have definitely made up for the weather. I am trying to catch up with the blog....but include some more selfies of you guys!
Love the photo of you holding the umbrella Dee, you look so angelic. What a wonderful day despite the weather and great meal, minus the squid. ;) miss you guys.
I think my favorite part of all of your travels is the ability to find street markets with fruits and vegetables. We need those here!!!! And not just on Saturday and Sundays!
Wow what an impressive meal! It all looked delicious. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day as far as the weather. View from the restaurant looks amazing Enjoy!!! Sounds like another visit is possible?
Love the vegetable market haul, looks so pretty! Dee- are you wearing a shower cap at the market? It stinks that the weather has been so cold, but I’m proud of you both for venturing out to have a good time. Those gin and tonics look very refreshing. Hope the weather gets better.
Lol Dee! Here’s my Dallas blog: spend all day at the office working, then back to the hotel, repeat until Friday! ;) Somehow it just doesn’t sound as exciting as your adventures!
Catching up Hello my dear grandparents,
I am doing my catching up for the last couple of days of course while waiting for dinner and you have made me absolutely starving and totally reminiscing on the outstanding food in Europe that I could shed tears over. I am glad you have made it safely to Sorrento! Although it is not Ravello, hopefully you can relax a little more during this time since you are more familiar with the area. And maybe you will see things you never noticed before. Francesco seems like a very nice man and I'm glad you will get to see him again before you go. How I WISH I was joining you on this part of the adventure since Spring Break is coming soon. I will be headed home to the fam on Friday afternoon. Love you lots and I can't wait to hear about more adventures in Sorrento!
Ashley
What a beautiful day! The food looks delicious. Great find and a do over to be had. Those tucked away places are always the best. May the sun shine brightly tomorrow!!!!
You guys have it easy! Glad you were able to relieve yourself, Mitch Thoroughly enjoyed your description of the experience. Glad it wasn’t Dee. We girls don’t have such an easy fix. That’s my worst nightmare.
