Various mothers having kittens Nick & Tarryn...power couple extraordinaire...hats off to you seems tame. How about on one knee? What can I say other than congratulations and well done. Stunning pics to prove you did it. I've posted your fab panoramas in the Majestic Mountains thread in the Photography Forum.
Green wheat field in Germany Nick -- May we use this image for our stewardship campaign this fall at St. James's Church? It fits well with the "Let the Spirit move you theme" -- We hope to send out a flyer (with this image), along with a letter, and we would also like to use the image on the pledge page of the church web site. Please let me know how to work with you (payment, file transfer, etc.) -- Keep up your excellent work! Blessings, and thanks -- Richard
Well Done! I am booked on the same route and was very nervous, but reading your guys blog has given me hope that I can perhaps do it as well.
A very useful account of what it is like from some one who has done it.
Good luck on your new adventure.

How are the roads in Norway? Hi,
Congrats on completing the trip, it makes an excellent read. I'm thinking of doing a tour of Europe including Norway in a year or so, and I'm just at the stage of thinking about the route. However I'd heard Norway wasn't the best country for cycle touring because of all the road tunnels. Is it possible to bypass these? I'm thinking of following the coast from Gothenburg to Trondheim, or from Oslo to Trondheim, then to Stockholm before getting the ferry to Helsinki..
Thanks,
James.

Haha, thanks! In fact the crab got itself stuck in a crack in a rock (usually you can't get within 5m of the buggers). Think the camera was about 5mm from its face - the poor thing was terrified i guess!
I'm from Scotland, currently living in the lovely city of Edinburgh.
My blogging started in South America (5 months) with a bit of Alaska (1 month), then a 2.5 month cycle trip around the North Sea and up to Narvik in Norway.
Since then, Kilimanjaro, Everest 3 passes, and a few other smaller trips in Scotland. Most recently i've returned to Peru for one more hike (the one that almost killed me).... full info
