The Old Mill - Degraves Mill? The photo of the Old Mill looks like Degraves Mill, just with a big chimney!
Second Valley with its rolling hills and seaside aspect reminds me a bit of the coast down near Princetown, along Johanna somewhere! Looks very pretty though.
And I still can't get over the cost of the ferry - I thought the Sorrento to Queenscliff ferry was expensive!
VH! I don't remember much of Victor Harbour when we went through on our way to Kangaroo Island but I do remember the horrendous ferry ride in the middle of the night on the way back! Argh! Never been more seasick!
But it doesn't sound like they have got the right idea in developing it. So sad to lose so much heritage all for the sake of modern comforts :( Bloody councils.
Sandstone buildings and septic loos! You guys are so nice leaving a donation AND going in buying something as well as saying thankyou! I can only begin to imagine what the countryside looked like when those sandstone buildings were first built in 1850/60! It would have been a busy little spot with all the paddle steamers going up and down I imagine. Once again good photos!
So i wrote a comment on here a while ago but for some reason, it has not come up yet! Anyway, a brilliant win from the Cats - too good! Glad you guys got off ok, despite the little hiccup at Stawell :( xox

Dolphins! Did Jackie see the dolphins? Did she bark? Sounds like an awesome spot for the night!
Reading all those 4WD and caravan magazines has paid off, just need to remember where all the other free camping spots are!
Carrying too much? No! Surely not :) Hiya! That was great that you ran into Twisty, would've been good to catch up with them! Think of all the other friends you've got across the country that you might bump into as well!
Glad Jackie liked the beach, I am sure she will start to settle down soon and get used to the idea that the Trakkie and the Troll will always be there, just in different spots every day!
Photos soon!
Love you both!
You lucky bastards We are not going to read any more of your blogs (only joking) as it will make us both envious. Sounds absolutely superb - we will keep tuning in - weather here to-day windy, wet and cold. Mum went for her new glasses this afternoon - Everything OK.
Hi, we are Mike and Trish and about to start the next phase of our lives. Over thirty years ago we travelled from London to Kathmandu which instilled in us a love of travel. We live in Australia and since our initial adventure have done the "family thing". During this period we have maintained our travel bug by regular trips OS but mostly by 4WDing and camping trips throughout this great country. Now it is time to do the big lap, "The Wrong Way Around." We have sold up in Kyneton, Victoria and put into storage what we wish to keep to furnish our next 'base' and the plan is to travel for at lea... full info
