Just checking in Did you watch any of the Big 12 basketball? KU won. Down deep I wanted to see Iowa State do better against KU but that wasn\'t to be. More basketball this week with NAIA here. It is going to be cold and rainy/snowy this week. It was 83 this past Fri. and I played mah jongg indoors all afternoon. I'm ready for some consistent warmth.
What do you think of the Carnival problems?

Great blog Hey Kevin & Susan, have enjoyed seeing your great blog on your adventures. Brings back memories of places we ahe been and interesting in seeing the few places we have not seen. We are in Tucson for about 5 weeks and just got back from a side trip to California. We caught up with some Cruise Specialist friends, Larry & Dodi Clark and Elizabeth Kingma. We all had good things to say about C.S., our individual rep's and of course you two. We made so many great friendships over the years from our travels. ( I hope you have been informed that Jim Foxworthy passed away. We feel so bad for Mary Beth but it looks like she has a nephew that is close and has been a big help)
We will be back in NC in a week or so and keep the blogs coming. We always look forward to hearing from you. Norm & Linda
That cotton candy looks delish and the I <3 dong sign would make a very tasteful T shirt souvenir. You both look fantastic. Hope this is the best cruise yet! Catherine
Envy Boy, did you bring back memories. Okinawa in 1969 is different from our visit in 2008 and probably different from your visit now.
The Bund-what a street, and the French Consesion-June buught a lovely lavender jade necklace, only by putting together four bracelets. They strung them while we were thaere in a few minutes and away we went.
Thaks
n again for the memories ion my virtual cruise.
The Old Days Once again your blog evoked lots of memories and also new things to look forward to seeing one day. I always enjoyed Okinawa as it was so very different from Tokyo and environs. Is it as rural as it once was? You didn't mention seeing the pigs in the river in Shanghai. I hope that is one sight you missed. Hugs, Jeannie
Travel Blog We soooo want to travel with you again and this time, follow along on your coat tails. You seem to know all the best places to eat and shop and make us wish we were there along with you. You do an excellent job at representing each and every port. Thank you.
Best Computer Wishes Ah, what a drag to have your computer crash. It's fascinating just how much we have vested in our digital friends, and often don't realize it until there is an unfortunate crash. Sounds like you have or will soon have everything in good working order. All the best on that front, and may your onshore adventures continue to be just that.
Love,
Stephanie

Love the photo of red sails at night and those dreamscape images of the rock formations. It always cracks me up when you talk about things like your favorite foot massage place in Hong Kong and how you seem a little bored by Taiwan. Ha! The life of people that have cruised the world just a dozen time or so! It makes me smile. Miss you.
Loved the Rock formations I see you changed rooms - we are in 669, is that a bad location. Out of 29 days, we are off the ship every day except 4. Sorry to hear about your computer problems. Headed for Fairfax this weekend - enjoy the cruise.

Tennis I played my first game of tennis in 1 and1/2 years. My eyes are having trouble following the ball in my right peripheral vision. Hopefully I'll do better when we start playing outside with better light. I have done some skiing and that is going well. I really enjoy following you journey. Keep up the good work. Ted
Hanoi Hanoi was very interesting as was Saigon--Rex hotel-etc----why was Ken hospitalized and is his wife still living---he looks thin---hope he is well--travel safe--my regards to all---glad Franc has moved up the ladder--he was the best---always could count on him taking care of everything---Bill K--PS-going to assist Tom Mullin on the Grand Asia in Sept--looking forward to that---
Deja vue all over again The pig on back of the motorbike was something Tessa captured on our trip. We wonder if there is just one pig who comes out for the tourists? We continue to enjoy your blog as it follows the route of our trip and brings back lots of memories.
Singapore and Thailand Thailand is a paradise for those who love nature and Singapore is a good option for those who love shopping and modern lifestyle. Both countries are amazing and one should visit these two countries atleast once. Thailand is full of beaches and mouth-watering street foods.
Hi to my friends Susan and Kevin--
As always love your blog and pictures of your travels to exotic and warm places. Southeast Asia looks gorgeous. It is impossible to believe that it was the site of a horrific war.
We just returned from Isla Mujeres, Mexico on Wed. night. We went with two other couples from Sioux City. We loved our week reprieve from winter. We did not plan well. Thursday morning Kansas City was socked with the worst snow storm in 20 years. We got 12 inches of snow and went no where on Thurs. Fortunately, we were watching the forecast and stopped at the grocery store on Wed. night. Otherwise, we would have dined on eggs and salad. We are supposed to get another storm Monday afternoon. Time will tell. I wonder what the Mexicans would think about the cold and snow.
Sail safely.
As you can imagine, we loved the VW Bus Bar! Maybe we should convert ours for Burning Man! Smile. We also dug the description of the bay filled with boat lights and glowing like its own city.
