Barcelona? This is the first time I've EVER seen a report on Barcelona without a single mention of Gaudi! Maybe you've been there too often!! Enjoy the final leg.

BEAUTIFUL ITALY Thank you for sharing Italy with us. We have been there and would love to go again. You make a person feel like we are along on your journey. Thank you for an interesting trip.
Ephesus I really enjoy yourpostings and especially the pictures. One question, usually visits to Kusadasi include a visit to Ephesus. I assume you guys had been there before and decided to stay in town. We spent the day we were in port 15 years ago traveling to Ephesus which was fantastic but because of that, we missed seeing any of the port.
Yesterday was our 47th wedding anniversary and tomorrow is Mary Annes 68th birthday. Since we have done so much traveling this past year, we are celebrating both by doing nothing. Next week we are off to Hawaii for my 50th clas reuion followed by a Stubenberg family reunion. Then back to Portland for a quiet summer of golf.
We look forward to your next post.

GREECE Wonderful commentary and photos. I can only imagine how much more inspiring the trip would have been without the rain. You make every day sound sunny with your adventures. Weather does not hinder your adventures. Way to go....
Eye Opening comments Thanks for the great insight into the geo-political reality of Israel. Nothing likw being on the ground to get a real sense of what is going on. As always, your reports make me jealous and just keep adding destinations to our bucket list!
We look forward to your posts and hope that you enjoy the rest of the Med.
I love your blog!! Vic and I just returned from a short month in Israel, Jordan, and Turkey. We spent 9 days in the King David hotel in Jerusalem. What a trip we had!
And what a trip you two have had! When do you come home?

I never thought that I would want to travel to Israel, but now you have peeked my interest. What a historic lovely spot. Thank you for sharing. Your History lesson is wonderful and I love the photos. A Jewish friend of mine explained it to me this way, they have been fighting forever, according to the Bible, and it will never end. Says it all. Safe Travels.
Jerusalem! What a beautiful commentary and excellent photos. It seems to be a place of impossibilities but we can always hope and pray that one day peace will happen.
Loved the picture of the jacaranda tree in the desert! So thoroughly enjoy your travel blogs.
Feel like I'm right there with you:-)
Hurry home, the Giants need your support--they're in a real slump!
