We're all JEALOUS!!! Can't wait to see some photos!! Sounds like a wonderful warm, sun-filled beginning. Glad everything is going well and that you are finding the "getting there" significantly easy.
Have a tropical drink or two for your Dad and I and enjoy that underwater wonderland with your snorkeling. We are all deeply jealous.....wishing I was lying in the sand sipping something cool and colourful at Rocky's Resort on Ko Samui right now!!

Sun vs Rain While you are basking in the sun, we are drowning in buckets of rain. We are in week 2 of it. Glad that everything is going well for you so far. Can't wait ot hear all about your journey's. Love You! Cari

SWIMMING in the Ocean is better than FROST on the Pumpkin!!', That wave may look pathetic to you....but great to us here in Canada where the temperature dips to 2 degrees overnight. FALL is certainly in the air here in Russell. Enjoy your last week in Daegu and enjoy your last moments with *your kids*. See you on Web Cam before you head out....

Yet...Even MORE accomplishments! Only three short weeks to Thailand ...and beyond.... but your life in Korea sounds like it is STILL bursting with great moments.
Right up to your departure, you continue to enjoy even MORE wonderful experiences and memories to take away with you. As Aunt Louise said...you SHOULD be proud....your family SURE is!!

The countdown continues.... Geeeee, Jessica, I can imagine how sad you must be feeling leaving your students and little Koah....I was pretty sad just reading your Blog! :>)
The excitement of your travel will transform your mood, once your journey begins.
Take it all in and enjoy your last four weeks!

Seeing the world Hi Jess-Sounds like youve got quite a journey ahead of you. Make sure you let us know every detail, after all, the likelyhood that we're ever going to do the same thing is very small, so were relying on you !! :-)
Have fun Brandan and Jess. If you are heading to SiemReap, make sure you take a taxi after you cross the border. The mini van ride is a killer. It takes about 8 hours, and the van often breaks down. The taxi drive will run for about 30 bucks but you can get others to come with you. DO NOT exchange money at the border. They will inform that you won’t be able to do it in SeamRieap, but they are lying to rip you off. Good luck, and have a blast!!
I'm 28 years old. I decided back in 2005 to pack up my things and head to South Korea with my boyfriend. Lived in Daegu our first year. Then decided to move to the big city of Seoul and taught there for 2 years for the Seoul Public schools. During the past 4 years we backpacked through most of South East Asia as well as some parts of Africa and Europe.
Now I'm back home in Canada getting my second degree.
