Sad words...the holiday is over...
and I'm sorry the weather was so bad. I'm Following others who are vacationing in southern Europe...Spain, Portugal and southern France...and it is raining everywhere. I hope the weather improves by September when I have to walk across northern Spain.

Yes Bob it is sad especially when the sun has repeatedly shone here since we got back. Ah well still had loads of adventures and plenty to remember. I hope it is not too hot for you in September and that if you get rain it is just at night .

the UK has been having some lovely weather! Dry, sunny, and quite warm - if you wear jeans and fleece!!! Bu I would rather be travelling.......Stay safe

Already rubbed . we have arrived home and Chesterfield is bathed in sunshine. We have had no rain since we got home. Still where would I rather be ? Not sitting here . My neighbour has family in Spain and he said he spoke to them last week and the weather was awful. When I went swimming yesterday the receptionist had been for two weeks to south of Spain - rain and we have been following Our Tour blog and they are still getting awful weather . Our friend woolly mammoth is in Albania and guess what RAIN . Where are you from ? We try to read all sorts of blogs especially those with motorhomes . Gives us ideas.

Weather
I think the weather has been pretty bad everywhere this year - we went to Spain last week for 8 days or so and had rain and unsettled weather all week - unheard of in May!!

Campsite
The campsite seems a lot closer than the one we stayed at - not sure about the dog and the crow though - but will bear it in mind if we get down that way again! We stayed at the Lido de Jesalo and caught the ferry into Venice and stopped at the islands of Murano and Burano on the way back!

We have done every one including Fusina and they are all pretty much the same. Just love Venice though so put up with the rest . We are off to Spain again in September. went once and said that was it , went back and here we are off for third visit.

Hi Bob , I am with you on this one. We never fail to find something new there. Glenn must have been 25 times and still managed to get totally lost as we wandered down passageways. Such fun and what a city. It must be the most amazing sitting there in the mist . I don't think we have seen the last of it.

Hiya Jen. Jill and I are enjoying your travel blog. Wonderfully informative as usual. We are somewhat concerned about the way you're treating dear Suzy. The poor girl must be on the verge of complete exhaustion. Was a little surprised at how you raced through Switzerland. It's such a glorious country, especially around the Bernese Oberland, even if it is a little high on the Swiss Francs. It brings back so many wonderful memories of our numerous times there with our own motorhome which is sadly no longer with us. We really miss these trips around Europe and delights such as the St Gothard Tunnel. Ah happy days! Anyway hope you continue to enjoy your trip to the far corners of Europe and that the weather improves. Head towards Greece and it will be hotting up in more senses than one. Interesting too to read that your Croatian taxi driver hated the nightmare that is Brussels. We are obviously not alone. Safe onward journey to you both. Mike Smith, Torksey Lock, Lincoln

Hi yes we do use ACSI a lot but at the moment we are sitting in the pouring rain at Pakostane. On a lovely day it would be nice here . AT the moment we are drinking coffee on the almost empty site. I am way behind with the blogs as this is the first time I have gone on the internet for days. Think we will be off to Rab next . Jennifer
