Love couchsurfing!
I have to admit - we might like hosting even more than we like surfing. Like you said, it's a lot more than a free bed. It's about doing all those things you "say" you're going to do when you travel - meeting locals, learning a new culture, educating yourself about various places - but can't do just sticking to the main tourist sites. And of course, the friendships! Two of our former surfers are attending our wedding later this year, and then we're actually flying out to attend the wedding of two others who are have since been engaged. Such a great concept.

Hello Christopher & Diana, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year !!! Thankyou for including us in your email list, always glad to see where you are & how you are. Your adventures are just fantastic, so glad you are able to be doing what you're doing. Took Denham to hospital today for another arthroscope, trimmed the cartlidge & took a biopsy of cells that will go to WA lab to grow some new ones that will be transplanted in his knee in a couple of months time. He has Paigen Taylor as his girlfriend at the moment, she is planning on going to live & work in WA leaving April I think. Denham wants to go too !! Will be very good for him. Cabel & Alex went to Melb for cricket over Xmas break, rather disappointing for the Aussie's. Scottsdale Trots tomorrow night, Ken has his horse driving license now, so he will be driving our "Ruby's Life" and "Rememberpreece" in their races. Cross your fingers !! Manuel & Ange expecting their 3rd child 1st Feb and Candice & Justin expecting their 2nd in late April. That will be our total at 10 grandchildren !! It's one thing we can beat your parents at !! Taneil & Luke were here for a few days over Xmas, Laiden is 7 now Deacon 5, Keah will be 4 in March and baby Adarie in 5 months old. They're still ferral, but all gorgeous kids.
