I love warthogs! :)

Very true
They are a very good laugh. When the tail goes upright and running around in circles always brings a smile :)

After the long walk hike to the top poor Diana needed a rest. You can see what happened as soon as she sat down, a nice just of wind blew half the dune over her :)

Ruacana Falls
Thank you so much for posting about these magnificent falls, I never knew they existed until reading your blog. Will have to add this to the list of attractions to see when my travels eventually reach Namibia.

Hey hey :)
Yeah we didn't really know about this place either and was a very nice surprise! Make sure, if you go, that recently plenty of rain has fallen since the waterfalls is at times 'turned off' due to the dam just above it. We just got luck but think you can call the lodge in Rucana to find out. It is a long way North to find it not flowing :)

A real wonder
Thanks! It's really interesting and amazing. First of all - about Ruacana Waterfall. I didn't even hear about it. Though warefalls are a special object in the bouquet of my interests. Now I'm preparing a little blog material about waterfalls in Latvia. We have nearly 400 of them, and the highest is even...4,5 meters(!) high. In return, it's the largest in the whole Europe. Ruacana Waterfall on pictures seemed to me as if a huge massif of snow (!). Happy journey!

Tragic...
We've just finished reading the Christopher Hitchens book "God is not great," which actually talks about the view on condoms in Africa, in particular the message relayed to the African people via the Catholic church as to their supposed 'problems' causing infection rather than preventing it, an obviously ridiculous message from the church. It was one thing to read it in Hitchens' book but must be quite another to hear a first hand account of this! Regardless of religious beliefs, I'd recommend the book. Thanks for an insightful read and safe travels!

Thank you for your pics of the Okavango, I have been fascinated with the Okavango Delta every since Childhood when I saw the doco, Animals are beautiful people. It's nice to hear of one place in the world that's not being overrun by people trying to make a living.
