This is the travel blog of Gabi and Hannah. We are going on a euro trip for our graduation and wanted to have a place where we could update people back in the states on our adventures, thoughts and foreign experiences. Enjoy!

I will try to remember all of the things that have happened between our last update and now. We spent 3 fantastic nights in the Cinque Terre. We hiked the hardest part of the trail between the towns, stopped for lunch and then decided that we were done. We met a lot of fantastic people, especially Molli from Philly! We returned to Venice for our last 2 nights in Italy. On the last night we went out dancing...let me just say that I am not ok with the fact that Italian men can move their hips better than I can! Now for a little travel disaster story: So, Hannah and I got up to leave Venice and easily got our train to Milan. However, when we reached Milan we realized that we had no money for ... read more

Ciao everyone! Sorry it's been a while since we last updated, time flys when you're having fun and it's hard to find time to sit down and focus for more than a couple minutes. Currently I'm sitting on a bench in the town of roimaggore on the Italian coast, trying to pick up the only free Internet signal in town. Gabi is off at a cash machine withdrawing money for our train tickets back to Venice. We spent four nights there and then yesterday left for here, the 5 terre, five towns along the mediterranian coast. We were planning for five nights here, but are really missing Venice (we fell in love with the city and it's people) and so have decided to leave the 5 terre on the 30th instead and head back to Venicia ... read more

This is Gabi, again...Hannah is asleep. We are just finishing up our first day in Venice, which is strange because back in Seattle it is only a little after 9 in the morning. Our journey over here wasn't too bad, aside from our mad rush through the airport in Rome. We got there and our ticket had the wrong gate number printed on it and we had to go through security, but there was only one security station open and about one hundred people all pushing to get through it. But we made our flight with five minutes to spare! Anyway, everything has been a lot easier than I expected. We managed to get out of the Venetian airport, buy our vaparetto tickets into venice and walk from the Rialto bridge to our hostel while only ... read more

Gabi here. I just created this blog and can't believe that I'm actually making the first entry for a blog that will document our time in Italy, Scotland and England. I went to Target yesterday and bought all my toiletries and lots of clothes and I threw them all in the suitcase I'm taking. It is so surreal to look at a pair of shorts or a shirt and think that soon I'll be wearing it in Venice, Riomaggiore or Edinburgh. This is just a short entry, but I'll leave you readers with the itinerary for our trip: First Flight is June 22nd at 8:55 am = Seattle to Detroit to London to Rome to Venice In Venice from June 23rd - June 27th (4 nights) In Riomaggiore, Cinque Terre from June 27th - July 2nd ... read more
