my pale brother G-Nic, I'm delighted to see that the hot Australian sun has been no match for your untannable skin - it very nearly brought a tear to my eye. I think you officially win the white-off. I owe you a cake.
Brisbane rocks! I loved Brisbane too. Reminded me of Calgary, and was super laid back.
I think I would have poked the Steve cutout in the eyes. Just once.
That sounds absolutely amazing. I wish I was with you!!!
Just so you know, the snow is almost all gone (which means you can come home soon) and it's going up to 12 or so degrees pretty much for the rest of the week. (It also means that Gary didn't need to scrape the car off before you left. I'm pretty sure it would have safely melted off by now!!!!)
(Do you want an airport pickup? I'm happy to do that!!!)
Sports Update I know this excites you Michelle(not) but here goes anyway.
The final four is #2 UCLA vs #4 LSU and #3 Florida vs #11 George Mason.
Steven Ames won the Players Championship by 6 over Retief Goosen.
Canadiens swept the Leafs in two games and virtually put them out of the play-offs and now have a good chance of getting in.
The Sens are still going strong.
Baseball season is just around the corner and it looks like the Yankees will sin another World Series.
Bye for now
Dad
hockey playoffs another note for gary on the sports tip: Our hockey team( http://www.osmhl.com div 4 west, team name:old man strength, in case anyone wants to checks gary's stats for the season) has only one game left to play but it won't change our standings, we finished second and our first playoff game is april 9th. I've only played 3 games since xmas, so i'm terrible right now, thankfully jarret is playing in your place and he's good. not end to end gary good, but good enough.
Out of Doge Hi Gary and Michelle,
I am so glad you "got out of Dodge when Cyclone Larry showed up. I wasn't even aware that there was a storm there until your blog. It was severe.
Some tidbits for Gary as I know Michelle will not care about these.
1. The Raiders won the provincial basketball.
2. Kris Heshka is the careeer leader in points and rebounds.
3. Duke and Georgetown have advanced to the sweet sixteen.
4. Syracuse is out.
5. Dallas signed Terrell Owens.
That's all for now. Keep the blog updated.
Dad
2. Duke and Georgetown are on to the sweet 16 but not Syracuse.

:ooking Cool Hi Gary and Michele,
It looks and sounds like you are having a great time. How come Gary did not jump out of the plane? We are back in Yorkton and wishing we were still in California. Keep having fun and send a few more pictures in the blog.

Courting Death Down Under Lovely. Just what a nurse wants to see - people increasing the odds that I will never, ever be out of a job. :)
Seriously though - even though I'm a wet blanket, I'm glad you had fun! Miss you both.
Where are all the Hobbits, damnit?!? The title says it all.....looks like you guys are having fun - your brother hasn;t seen any mountains or glaciers, only mountains of paperwork. Rest easy knowing I'm jealous....keep staying safe....
Keep on blogging in the free world. Hot Kayak Shot! Kayaks are so in this year.
I imagine they don’t play NICKELBACK on New Zealand radio. Sounds kinda like paradise too me. Beware of melanoma, koala bears with rabies and sharks (especially while skydiving). Stay safe happy and married. Missing you.
Three cheers for underwater camera cases! That photo rocks! I take back all ridicule, both said and unsaid. I want one. And a time machine to go back in time to when it would have been useful for me. Looking forward to pics on the reef!
The Nicholseses are tired of working. What better way to stick it to the man than taking a 6 week vacation in New Zealand and Australia? Because my imagination is so feeble, I can't think of any; so we leave on Feb 19th.... full info
