Happy Anniversary
It's been a great year following you in your journey. I have a forebodding feeling that you think it is all coming to an end soon. Having given up your return tickets to SA just a few weeks ago, I thought you were commiting yourselves to a few more months at least. I will pray that you find God's will, but hope that includes a life in New Zealand.

Tarakan
My husband and I are headed to Tarakan this summer-he is a pilot with MAF. I visited him there last year when we were engaged and I can imagine what a difficult place it would be without knowing the Indonesian language! It is a place of hidden treasures though-if you ever get back to that part of the world head to Derawan-it has amazing snorkeling and scuba diving and is just an all-around beautiful place. I laughed when I read about the attention you got from the locals-it is overwhelming! My blonde hair and blue eyes don't help me blend in either! Hope the rest of your trip went well!

Transfer TN - CH
Hi, please could u help us with the information about the transport via Taman Negara - Cameron Highlands? 7 hours in the minibus it means basically one whole day lost? Could u remember when the first bus leaves via CH? Thanks a lot for your help. Jana

Glad you made the decision to stay here and enjoy your current life for a while longer. You seem to be having fun, and am sure are making a of people jealous. And you might have to start posting some of these recipes soon Talita!

Thanks for shring a great testimony on new year. Living by faith isn't easy untill you look back. Just to mention that Western Australia is very warm and sunny at the moment and today the forecast is for 38 degrees Celsius.

Hello Talita en Ferdi, Ek en jou pa het die afgelope 10 dae se nuus hier by Jaco en Sarah gelees. Ons Lapland vakansie was fantasties en het heeltyd gehoop julle kon dit met ons deel. Ons is baie besig saam met Oliver en Bianca ... hulle het baie energie. Bianca is baie erg oor haar Oupa. Ons sal foto's stuur sodra ons 9 Jan. tuis is. Ons wag intussen dat kleinkind no. 3 opdaag. Dis ook koud en was gesneeu in London. Voorspoed met die skip. Baaie liefde, Ma en Pa xxoo

Dads and lads
The boat building for dads and sons ais a great idea and can be applied to many others projects I assume. I went to a dads and lads camp with our local church and all the dads and lads had a great time, especially with the potato gun - apiece of PVC plumbing soem aerosol and ignition to fire the potato. a little bit dangerous when overdoing the aerosol as the pvc pipe work can explode. other wise chatting around a camp fire is always fun as well and boys love to burn many sticks. - and some other rubbish theyre not suppose to. This year we plan surfing lessons for the whole family - not sure if Ruhan at 2 and a half will manage.

Egg Plant
Hey Talits! Eggplant is easy to make..a few italian triks... You first cut thin slices off the actual egg plant you layer them out in one of those holed containers and you put salt (quite a bit of salt) you leave it for a couple of hours like that so that all the bitterness of the eggplant goes away- once you dry the slices of eggplant you grill them in a pan- once is nice and grilled you put them in anotehr container you wait for them to cool down and then you splash olive oil and balsamic vinegar as well as fresh mint- you can actually then use the egg plant for a week with this method and put it into sandwich or just eating them like that- i also find it very tasty if you put it on pizza! hope this helps! :)

Hi daar my liewe maatjies, Ek maak vandag klaar by die werk so ek gaan nie weer access he tot die internet voor volgende jaar nie. Wil graag vir julle 'n geseende Kersfees toe wens en 'n voorspoedige nuwe jaar. Ons gaan bietjie see toe saam die family. Ek is al 15 weke swanger en dit is weer 'n seuntjie.
