Makes one think
I remember as a kid reading Anne Frank and thinking hiw very very brave she was. It is just mind blowing all that happened.. after our Australia trip we were excited about McDs drive thru fkr coffee and it was less than 3.00 for 2 large ☺
12th October 2017

Yes...
It is mind blowing that we let so many people be tortured and killed over a religion - any religion. And we had a no-big-deal McDs today because it was on our walk back to the hotel and it was cheap - 7.80 Euro total for 2 to eat lunch. I am not at a point where I'm really missing anything yet.

Parmesan
If they have parmesan cheese and he can put parmesan on all of that breakfast food, I think he will be okay... :) Except, no Dr. Pepper, right? Uugh. We may have to remain Americans.

Enjoying yoir blogs
Love trying different foods on travels...love ur opinion on local favorites, lol. In Australia mom would have baked beans on toast as a snack. Ice..Yes, I wonder about that too. Maybe restriction on use of freon stuff, idk.? Im so glad u are enjoying the "old people". When we cruise there are always more older thsn younger. Alot have told me they wish they had started travelling much younger. Agreed! Continue to have fun u 2!

I"m going to comment on every blog...
:) Matt will want to move to Latvia since they hate "Tramp"! He's been looking for a place like this! Although he needs to eat Taco Bell a few times a week and since you haven't mentioned seeing a Taco Bell that will put a damper on our move to Latvia... It looks truly beautiful! So glad you're having fun with your group. They sound wonderful!

Thank you for bein' a friend...
What a great leg of the journey! I hate myself for saying this, but while I definitely look forward to your updates and getting the actual "story" of the trip, I'm also a sucker for Langston boy comments that are inappropriate and weird. We are two very lucky ladies... It sounds like the ocean was beautiful and you're having a great time (minus the food)! I wish we could be there!

Loving your blog
Lol..I figured the oldies werent my age. Giving u crap. So glad u are moving on past thr customs issue. As I've said, every vac. Has a story of a bump amd I mark it off as an adventure. I am jealous of the creme brule'. 1st x I ate that was in Biloxi, MS. Continue to have fun u 2. It is fun to be a sponge and soak up how people live in other countries and take in the beauty of other countries. Be safe!

Whaaa?
That is so scary! I bet Kamie needed those smokes the most during this ordeal, and they were being held captive! So glad you were freed! I wish you had a mug shot....
8th October 2017

A mug shot?
Ha Ha Ha Ha And yes, those smokes were discussed in detail as they had seen the Camel cigarettes but never the Greeeeeen ones... LOL

Good lord!
EEDA,EEDA...your 1st adventure on this trip nearly got u hard labor. I know when we wemt to Australia in April I researched chewing tobacco. Wes decided then it was time to quit. He toim 2 cans with him and when they were gone he was done. How flippin scarey. I found its best to declare eberything. Btw, 10 to 15 older would ne our agish....hmm, OLD, no. Habe fun u 2.....
8th October 2017

We have never had anything to declare before. Ever. I didn't do the research on Estonia so it's my fault but it is a lesson learned. The most frustrating part was that I deal with stressful situations with humor but the customs guy was not about smiling or humor so my jokes weren't going to work on him. LOL As for the age group.. I was being kind when I said 10 to 15 years... there MIGHT be someone here as young as 60 but we both doubt it. Most are pushing 80. They all seem fun so age is just a number on this trip!

Yay!
Glad you are on your way! Kamie's brother would probably like to know a bit more about that McDonald's jalapeno chicken sandwich. It will be what he hones in on when you tell us more about your trip. Sadly. #langstonboys

#langstonboys
HaHaHaHa It looked like sliced jalapenos with jalapeno cheese maybe? The pictures made it look like a mushroom and swiss. It was so popular it was on the 2 for $3 menu with the nuggets! I can't wait until our marquee at home says "McRib is Back!" #happiness

Check Check
I tried that whole "I want to be dead to the world" during my vacation and it didn't quite work. Good luck to you as I TOTALLY understand! What can you do about something horrible from across the planet? It will still be there to deal with when you go home but in the meantime, you have a vacation to enjoy! Safe travels!

It is a chocolate candy egg with a surprise ( a small toy inside) and they were banned in the U.S. because they might be a choking hazard. I don't actually know if any kid actually ever died from them but my research on them a couple of ye
ars ago led me to believe that Nestle or Hershey's or one of those companies actually lobbied Congress and got this passed because they were so popular here - they are all over Europe and Canada. Since that time, apparently customs and border control have been crazy about them. Who cares about the Kinder Surprise Eggs - - check for liquid cocaine and guns you dumbasses!! Would love to hear how you thought Kamie could get them back over here. Ha Ha Ha
