The past two days have been spent just wandering around and doing some shopping, but generally just taking in the sights, sounds and smells of what is unique to Bangkok. The air is filled with the smell of fumes from the heavy traffic and many types of food being either boiled or barbecued on the street. There is the sound of constant traffic, whistle blowing from the traffic police, and people chattering away. It really is amazing as you very rarely hear a nasty tone , and given the number of people in this city it is unusual.
