Fake 20's Hey, Joe. Just saw a note from a Spanish buddy who said there's a warning going round over there about fake 20 euro notes. Those with serial #s ending in 854 may be bogus. I have no idea if this is a real problem, or if so, just how widespread it is. Just thought I'd pass it along.
By now you're probably almost to Madrid. I'm VERY envious. Hope it's all going well and that your smile is growing with every mile.

All the best Having some doubts is good - that shows you are thinking about things properly, not just assuming you will be okay. I think you will ... be okay, that is.
Are you going to ship your backpacks to the next alberge... for the more difficult climbs, like the one to Orisson? I've been doing a cost/benefit...it cost money to ship but if I can cover twice the distance I can complete the walk in half the time...and at half the cost of alberges and food. I guess such calculations are not the mark of a TRUE PILGRIM. We must suffer. You have the right approach...go your own pace...stop and smell the flowers...and take as much time as necessary.
Shipping Backbacks ? Only if to prevent further injury . I am not concerned to much about the "True Pilgrim" designation although I thoroughly respect anyone that can make the 500 mile trek without assistance . Time will tell , once we get onto Orisson we will know more about our capabilities . Thanks for the recommendations!
Buen Camino Hola. Enjoy your pilgrimage. If you are going through Brea which is near to Pedrouzo Galicia and usually the last stop before Santiago why not check into my friends very comfortable Pension. Check out the accommadation and rates at theway.org.es

I believe this is where I am to say something that will shift the earth on it's axis and make your world larger , brighter , more meaningful. Ok .I'll try . Here Goes .
Ask yourself this . "Whens the last time I did something for the first time "? . Or this " What was I worried about this time last year"? .. I will leave that for you to answer.
One of the reasons I'm going on the Camino is to step each day into a new view , experience new-ness and meet new people. Another reason is it's my way of showing my son's ,grandkids , nieces and nephews that the overused Latin term "C... full info
