Sounds delish! I love Asian food, and can't wait for you to cook for me! Also so anxious to see the boots and dress. I'm interested in the marble -- I'm wondering if process is similar to dealing with limestone. Happy you are having so much fun and learning so much. Love ya, Granny
snake i would be terrified of that snake. and that monkey is quite obese. did you get to pet the elephant? did you see any spray water from their trunks? i also love to play "no really, who has my passport", the eastern european edition. :)
You ate a tarantula? ------- Good grief! Loved the elephant ride and so good to hear your voice again. The whole trip sounds awesome and I can hardly wait to hear about it in person. But please don't bring any tarrantulas here to cook! Great blog....look forward to it each day. Love, Granny
Thailand A buddy and I are planning a trip to thailand leaving July 9th and doing the whole SE Asia tour. Whats the dress code for the temples for men? Has the weather been really rainy?
Oh Em!!! I can't believe you ate the tarantula!!! You are quite the adventurer! Love your blog and so glad you obviously have developed an iron stomach. Looking forward to hearing from you again!
Happy Summer Solstice, D2
Embo! I'm an idiot, I can't navigate this blog at all :) It says there are 80 pictures, where are they? What an awesome trip. I really want to see India now. I'll be excited to hear what it's like at your friend's family's place, that will be such a nice change from hotels and hostels. Can you bring me a little foil wrapped package of those coconut creme pancakes? They sound scrumptious. Love to you.
Mumbai Vada Pav is an indian vegetarian fast food available everywhere in mumbai. One should taste the local fast food. Its awesome.
Visit Hanging Gardens situated at Malabar Hills.
You can see the whole of mumbai city and chowpatty beach from the west side of the garden. The garden is situated on top of a hill.
A traveler requires minimum 3-4 days to tour mumbai.

Hey Emily Not sure if this is the best way to say "Hey" and your mommie and I miss having you on the West Coast. Y could have told you India was crazy but no, you had to see it for yourself. They do have some wonderful people there but fortunately they like to come to the US so I can miss the taxi ride. Your mom is back working after her nice vacation but has a little cold. We'll both be working the RocknRoll Marathon this Sun. Will really miss you on that day! Hope things r settling in n will be checking yr blog everyday. Love and Miss, D2
