Happy snaps
Wasn't like that in Casblanca when we were there in 2016. Had peope lining up to get photos taken. Russia was a different matter, though. In the Kremlin, I stepped off the footpath into the gutter to get an unobstructed photo and was suddenly surrounded by four very large men with machine guns who told me to get back on the footpath or I would be arrested. I'm enjoying your blogs.

The one that got away...
When I was living in Europe and had the luxury of weekend trips to Spain, Cadiz was one place that kept eluding me... you've convinced me that we need to include it on our next southern Spain trip :)

The other side of the pond
Happy to hear you're in a more relaxed space in Spain. I find far too many travel blogs only show the glossy side of travel and I totally agree with you that travel blogs should carry the warts and all stories... our experience in Morocco was quite different to yours, but if I was planning a trip there, I'd definitely want to know the good, the bad and the ugly travel experiences.

Sanity is in Question
I'll have to read more about the Rembrandt group. Hopefully, you'll be healthy again soon.

COVID isolation.
You really did give the inverse blog a lot of thought. LOL. I'm glad you are making the best of it.

What a mess
I hope you are feeling better. At least it was cheap. I'm sorry for the unfriendly hospital people.

Covid Fever
We thought we were immune as multi-vaccinated and headed off the Bluesfest 2022 saying if ever we'd get it, it'd be there, among the thousands in Blues Heaven close quarters. Waving as we left after several days saying, "We thought we'd get Covid but we are fine. Arriving back in Sydney doing a RAT Test to prove we were right, which only proved we were wrong!!! You like us, got Covid 'cos you're having such a carefree good time. Sometimes karma says, "Life is a balance...you can't always have the best of the best time, all of the time!!!" Keep smiling.

How can this be?
What gives? You got Covid in Greece? Are you both vaccinated? Isolation hotel suite? How can it be worse?
8th September 2023

Sorry to hear you both got Covid...
your next blogs should be interesting as you discover what you are allowed to do. Get well soon!

The love of Greece
It is hard for me to read blogs and look at photos of this magical land and not book a flight.

Ferries
The Greeks run a great ferry system.

Memories
My friend recommended Amorgos for me a couple years ago and I did a brief solo trip, staying in a cave house in Chora. I agree with the monastery and windmills (at sunset for me) were the highlights, as well as a couple of hikes I did. I absolutely loved it there and would love to go back. It is definitely a hidden gem! Loving your humour in these posts, was drawn in by the 'mafia' issues on the next island.

Memories
Thanks so much for reading, and sounds like you had good experiences in Amorgos too. We thought Chora was fantastic. We hadn’t heard of either Amorgos or Astypalea, so we’ve got the organisers of the art tour to thank. Certainly a bit off the usual tourist path.

Yeah, we sort of got bookended into a long time away - wedding at one end and art tour at the other. All fascinating places. Thanks for reading.
