Those Darn Binkleys. Those Darn Binkleys do sound like a lot of fun, however, that Stephanie person made me do a push-up! Is Stephanie aware of 'Las Gaffas' the goggle game from Ecuador? If so - great she got me with her goggles. If not, the rules to the game are fairly simple... By goggling someone (see photo) they must then do a push up where-ever they are and what ever they are doing. To block oneself from being goggled one must have their hand or finger touching their chin before being goggled. To join the game you must goggle someone who is already in the game - once in the game you are in it for life. I am not sure of the rules regarding inadvertent goggling?
There are also no winners or losers - so it's not really a game... So yes those Darn Binkleys are Dangerous - but so is Stephanie!
Keep dancing and keep blogging.
Yet another Dave (and Theresa)
Those Darn Binkleys. Delighted to hear from another Dave. But to join the exclusive club you need a prefix name beginning with "D". Five are taken so what is yours? I'll see if I can contact Stephanie to find out if she is a persistent or occasional goggler. She's from Utah I recall and Debbie was from Nevada. They'll feature in the next blog for a quite different reason. Thanks for commenting by the way...and sharing in the fun of our hi-jinx while cruising the blues.
Dave night You guys must've had a really fun time - I almost felt like I was there! It must be fun writing these blogs and reliving it again. I love the idea of "Dave Night"!
Just the beginning... 'Tis true my love...just the beginning of schmoozing bluesing & cruising with special friends. Stories to tell...stories that should remain on the ship...fabulous memories of felicitous times together.
Wow! Yeh Ake. It's one thing about the Caribbean that is hard to miss, sunsets. Yet for so little cloud it was rather special.Fort Lauderdale, Florida no less.
Schmoozing, bluesing & cruising with those Darn Dangerous Binkleys Part 1: Dave was not "Dangerous" then. Hi Dave, awesome Blog. our love to you all.

Schmoozing, bluesing & cruising with those Darn Dangerous Binkleys Part 1: Dave was not "Dangerous" then. Thanks Andy & Caroline for reading & commenting. Hope it brightened your day. Love to you both from us.
The Music Guy, dangerous then and now, friendship forever Sometimes you get a vibe about someone and know that you are friends waiting to meet. Early on we knew Denise and Dave were our kind of people. From the second we met we were on the same wave. Once Dave ditched the caribbean hat for the blues hat he was ...oh so ....dangerous. A fun week that I hope we can repeat. Loved every minute. Loved every pre-dawn and late night dance. Loved the Caribbean ambiance. Senegal is next!..... and waiting anxiously for the next chapter.
The Music Guy, dangerous then and now, friendship forever Beautiful sentiments MJ. Chemistry makes the world go round. How lucky were we that not only the right chemicals but the planets all aligned at the same time? What is scary is that a repeat performance would have to be out of this World to top our time together. On that basis we look forward to more of the same. West Africa...blow your socks off!!!
It turns out that my daughter Tamara loves World Music... We listened to it driving to Connecticut and back and just returned home yesterday after two weeks away. I prefer the Blues...and Rock and Roll. Looking forward to your next episode when Dave becomes Dangerous!
It turns out that my daughter Tamara loves World Music... Good to see we are broadening your horizons Bob. Music proves the World is full not only with wonderful sights...but also with wonderful sounds.
My wife Denise & I like to travel "on paths less travelled" that capture our imagination, inspire my photography & where we mix with locals & remain safe.
