Fantastic, super, smashing, lovely! Wow you guys - what an amazing experience (and so funny too). Congratulations and continue to enjoy each other. Love to you both from the Jacksons - hope to see you soon! xx
Thanks for the memories Hi Dave and Denise.
Lovely to hear your version of the spectacular events around your re-marriage at the festival. It was a pleasure to behold in reality and you have recaptured the excitement and the thrill of it once more. Fabulous, and moving and funny. Thank you. With love, Wren X
Fabulous JUST INCREADIBLE WEDDING, Amazing experience I do agree it should be a highlight of the trip, what a wedding in the middle of desert I love it. Thank you & God bless you.

FROM THE WEDDING PLANNER... Renew your vows at Timbuktu?..great idea & I've given you clues...but its already been done!...I proffer a suggestion:
...being carried into a rock hewn Church in Lalibela, Ethiopia...the happy couple flanked by a collonade of priests carrying Ethiopian crosses...mmm...I like the idea...worth watering???
This was our "wet weather" option...feel free to use it!
AU REVOIR MALI...WELL NOT QUITE... Thank you Connie for your feedback...I have always been told I had no rhythm & danced to my own beat...until I got to Mali...where the locals thought I was a great dancer...but now I dance with an Ethiopian feel...& I have discovered rhythm...funny that!
Two more Mali blogs to come...just faces...then Ethiopia...stunning.
MY TUAREG WEDDING Thank you Shane for your feedback...I thought this blog that all my Mali blogs were leading to...had disappeared into the ether & not been seen...but I am now revived...I still laugh I pulled it off...dare to dream...then to do it..!
Hi David, great entry you got here, full of life & feels like discovering a bit Mali through your eyes. And yes...I got to say it...cannot believe you guys met Samba Toure, guess he is some kind of "half god" there :-)
Love your writing style I'm trying to talk my husband into going to Timbuktu to renew our vows at twenty years. Looks like your good time continues. Carry on. Glad you made it to the front page!
Invitation to our Tuareg wedding Thank you for your response.I invite you to follow my site...I am blogging Mali...leading up to our Tuareg wedding at the Festival in the Desert...then Ethiopia ...stunning! I am new to blogging but hooked. I look forward to reading further from your site.
Great photos What memories - cold and wet here in HoiAn and when I look at these photos and remember how hot it was when we were climbing up to that village. Keep them coming. Ros
My wife Denise & I like to travel "on paths less travelled" that capture our imagination, inspire my photography & where we mix with locals & remain safe.
