Roaming in the gloamng...
That was an interesting read and a good laugh over my Monday morning cuppa tea. Watch those data roaming charges when using your iPhone outside your home network. They're a killer!

At last!
Ahhh Clare, so happy you have gone on a journey again. I love your stories and the children enjoy bits that I read aloud to them at breakfast time once I have regained control of my laughter! Perhaps we should all contribute to your travel fund to allow the pleasure to last longer for all of us! xxx

Wow
I'm actually quite impressed you managed to remember so much and with so many details of pretty much everything! Surely you must have had a microphone hidden in your uke. By the way I'm glad you're home! (and now, I must catch up on all these posts I have yet to read!!) x

Thanks Patsy! I'm mightily impressed you nearly got through them all... That takes stamina! By the way there'll be one more Youtube video coming shortly - possibly two. Cxx

taragato
Hi Dibblet, I haven't seen anyone selling taragatos but there was a taragato player at the craft fair. If I have time tomorrow I'll try and do some research... Roby Lakatos is fantastic - I saw him at the Barbican with the LSO, which was annoying because the orchestra just got in the way. His band is also amazing especially the cimbalon player. Cx

Roby Lakatos is astounding. I saw him at Ronnie Scott's a few years ago. I'd love to hear him again. Have you come across any tarogatos ove there? I want one.

That's because I didn't manage to put any up yet, but will do right now and hopefully all will be clear! Anyway, I'm still sad about the moth - it was really quite traumatic to witness. But at least the pasta tasted pretty good. Cx

Luddites
Hi Hilke, Well it's not long now til I return - which is sad as I'm having a lovely old time. But you know how much I love the old John Trundle Courtiers and I'm looking forward to doing a good old rendition of the Ludd Anthem - where on earth did you get that idea from?! Cx

Sorry if we're quiet, but just wanted to say that I haven't found any videos with the blogs yet....so need instruction in one- syllable easy words on how to access them. Perhaps we're quiet because we are still in mourning for the moth. Looking forward t the next Uke song. Lots love Mub xx

Hi Clare, We desparately need you to come back to the office...we're in need of a uke song on the following Luddite anthem ('General Ludd's Triumph'): The guilty may fear, but no vengeance he aims At the honest man's life or Estate His wrath is entirely confined to wide frames And to those that old prices abate How about a march?? I'm sure there are more verses to this wonderful song we can use... Hx
