Wow! I am now so ashamed that I went to 'Go Ape' last weekend and was a tad nervous about being 60 ft up in the Derbyshire countryside for a couple of hours ha ha ha! Looks like you are STILL having an amazing time, now with the addition of Matt too! Keep the blogs coming..... x

Thanks guys....
... You've brought back some fab memories and you were soooooo lucky to see the gibbons too (we unfortunately didn't, but heard their calls in the morning). I may have forgotten to tell you about the muddy and bone shaking ride to the start point, sorry!! All part and parcel of the adventure. Rich and I absolutely loved it too, it's up there in the top 5 adventures of our trip. Don't think they'd get away with it in the UK, health and safety and all that...

Hello
Nice pictures! I was just there couple of weeks ago and it is FREAKING AMAZINGGG!! If you go to the more remote temples it gets even larger and larger like Beng Melea and Koh Ker Pyramid! We was amaze how much temples there are to see! Truly beats Macchu Piccu!

Wow!
Unlike many others, I have never really been tempted to visit Australia/NZ, until now. Your writing is amazing and you have entirely changed my views. Don't get me wrong, I'm not selling up and moving there on the basis that I will be able to swim with dolphins in my lunch breaks! But it is beautifully written and keeping us all updated on your adventures down under..don't stop! xx

Expensive
Yeah, you're right on the button, Oz is expensive, at least that's what we found 4 years' ago too. All will be forgotten when you get to Asia! Great photos.

Have a great new year in Sydney...
Really enjoying your travel blog, and good to see you've spent a while in NZ. I was in NZ for most of 2003 (tramping for the first half, working in Wellington the second) and this brings back some happy memories! Have a great new year in Sydney -- looking forward to more travelling tales!

Any advice!?
Hi Stephen It was in Greymouth and called Neptunes Backpackers. A dire town but a great hostel. If on a budget the pie, large cake and free coffee will suffice for that evening. Thanks for the kind words, it's appreciated.

Any advice!?
Hey guys - great shots. Can't tell you how jealous those of us in rainy London are when flicking through! Love the blog too - really well written thank you. I had a quick question, which I hope you don't mind, but which hostel were you staying in when the owner popped out to buy you cakes!? I'm trying to do a little research for a new area on crashpadder.com and would appreciate any input from people on the ground!
