NYC Baby!
One of my favourite places, I'm so pleased you fit it in! Been waiting for this blog ever since you mentioned you were going to NYC and you have not disappointed! Staten Island Ferry...takes an ages if you just want to see the skyline, half an hour there and back, and off then back on the same boat in between...just took too long for me when I was itching to get on with it!! Please do go for a cocktail on a rooftop bar if you get the chance on your whistle stop tour...some of the best sights seen while sat at nights in a rotating building with a champagne cocktail 70 floors up!!!! Anyway, enough of the travel guide, if I'm not mistaken, I'm not the only one ever to have visited..... Carry on having fun and keeping us posted xx

The long arm etc
OK. I assumed stupidly that as the speed limit in built up areas was 45 it would be this in open Woodland. Unfortunately it was 25 and I was doing 48 when we passed the policeman. After pulling over it was a bit unusual seeing a bloke coming towards you with a weapon in hand. Luckily the hapless English fop seemed to do the trick and only a verbal warning was issued.

Hi All. Fed up with working all the hours only for the taxman to take most of it away so we have decided to do what we have always dreamed about and take off round the world. We are currently planning our trip and have been inspired by all the great bloggs on here, thanks. We are looking to leave in Sept 2009 and travel first to the USA. I have visited many times but mainly for work, now is the time to see it for real. Then onto New Zealand to meet family, some for the first time, and see that beautiful country.
