Georgie booked us a car to take us to the floating market in Damnoen Saduak. We drove out of the city for about an hour passing salt farms with bags of salt piled by their gates. As we drove further from Bangkok the vegetation was more jungle like. This was to be a totally different experience from when I was here with Chrissie. We opted for the two hour long tail boat ride and sped through green vegetation of the klongs until we came to the market. It was total grid lock with tourist boats and market boats, some piled high with fruit, some with cooking pots steaming away with, no doubt, tasty food.
