Welcome back to the USA! :) Love the buffalo pics! Did I ever tell you about the time that Ernie and I were almost run over by buffalo? I know they can run fast! Only a couple more nights until you are back in your own bed! :) ILYSM
Bison & Safflower I bet you are correct about the safflower field. It's definitely a Canadian crop. Are the buffalo right on the side of the highway? Hope you were wearing your track shoes. :) Photos look like Yellowstone!
Bahahahaha! I keep hitting 'enter' too soon! Sorry for the empty comment. I just saw the entry from Nate about the senior menu. Bahahahaha! You failed to report on the status of the hat ranch. How do the hats stay on the poles? I'm trying to give you fun things to do on the way back to civilization :) Tell Janet to watch out for signs directing you to the wagon wheel ruts. That's a must-see! XOXO P.
Bahahaha... I've tried to respond to all the questions but they don't seem to be getting posted. Anyway, I did not watch the bachelorette! And I saw that some hats were nailed on and didn't look close enough to see if they all were. AND, all animals we saw were alive and breathing, not stuffed. The only thing stuffed is me after our killer dinner!
aunt p makes a valid point..could be a stuffed elk! or maybe he was hurt :( you forgot to mention that you watched the bachelorette!!! what the heck! most important tidbit of info right there! i can't believe you guys walked 5 miles! good thing mom has been hitting the gym lately! succkkkkaaaassssss
Stuffed Elk? Are you sure he was alive? Maybe the same person who placed the Adirondack chairs on the hillside for you planted the elk on the side of the road. Great tourist attraction :)
It's about time you picked up the brewery tour again. Looks like it's getting chillier; the jackets are coming out. Love the toe of the glacier. Did you know over 70% of the earths fresh water supply comes from glaciers? Fun fact I picked up on trivia crack :) XOXO P.
Photobomb, eh? Janet must be enjoying herself if she admitted to being your wife :) Make sure to save the names of all the places you stay and eat. Janet is such a good vacation planner!
I like when you speak Canadian eh? She was more than happy to admit she's my wife smarty pants! It's been unusually warm, we were just on a very windy ridge line at a high altitude at the time. Once we went to the other side of the mountain it warmed considerably. Good times...
Great pics! I wonder how the hats stay on the fence? Nailed on? How's the weather? I bet it's a little chilly up there! Janet might need some more swag :)
I'm very impressed with all of this hiking you are doing! Looks like all the miles have been worth the scenery! :) Glad you are finding some good places for beer too! Did anyone ask where Liftoff Brewery was from? :) ILYSM!
Elk vs Buffalo Now that you've had both burgers, which do you prefer? The photos are beautiful! I'm very proud of Janet handling the kayak on her own. Seems like she's getting brave out in the wilderness. Getting ready for the next season of 'Naked and Afraid?' :)
Love!!! Glacier is moving to the top of my "I want to visit" places!! I can't believe you saw a snake and a grizzly! Was mom able to sleep last night? Haha! Glad you are having such a blast!! Ilysm!
Blessed Virgin was looking out for you... Sheep, goats, Moose Drool and a spectacular sunset....can't ask for more. She had to give you the sputtering motor to keep you humble. :) Have fun!
Swag, eh? I think you did a good job on the sunset. Very pretty. Do you remember the movie, Continental Divide? Good job incorporating the brewery tour info. FYI - I'd really like to see photos of the swag :).
