Big trip... I've just stumbled across your blogs, and I see your trip is about to end. I'm yet to read your previous blogs, but just wanted to say good luck with that massive flight back home! :)
Nomination Thanks so much for your nomination for Blogger of the Week. I started the blog more as a keepsake for myself but I've had some fantastic feedback and have really enjoyed the whole experience. I can't wait for our next adventure (whenever that may be!)

America I am finding yr blogs super really enjoying them. Paul and family are doing virtually the same as you not Florida though. They go for a month a week on Saturday. Keep having fun.
Vanilla Slice Well, our Lyndsey. I'm very upset you chose to disparage my Vanilla Slice online, when you are thousands of miles away. That one looks disgusting!!!
PS. I forgive you seeing as you are my favourite niece. XX
BFF Linz - not jealous anymore, i have got over that now, just enjoying following the blog and enjoying the stories XX Does Bruce know what a BFFis now ???? :) XXX
Now that was a good day Really really miss you now :( I think when we were there with you it was one of the funniest days i have had in my life - EVER !! XXX
New York Nosh Well you guys are definitely cramming it in. I have just been on a Food Course with Gwen called New York Nosh. The menu was NY Buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce, then NYC Beefburger in a brioche bun with Tomato Chilli Jam, then the most delicious pie called Crack Pie!!! Definitely a Lily pie. The girls have given me a list of places that are really good food, though I know you are limited in time. Momofuku > pork buns & ramen. Momofuku Milk Bar > Crack Pie & cereal milk. Both in East Village.
ShKe Shack > Madison Square Park (& other places) for best burgers, cheese fries & shakes.
Eatally > opposite Madison Square Park.
Dominique Ansel Bakery > Cronus
Melt > ice cream sandwiches
atomic Wings > best buffalo wings
Maybe you will already have tried some of them but just in case.
Look forward to reading your blog. Enjoy. XX
The Dominique Ansel bakery is on my to do list for tomorrow's breakfast. I'll have to get up early and head down to join the line for Cronuts. Don't think we'll get to Katz - we're always in the wrong area at lunch time!
Literary Dipping Hope that you are dipping into the local literary delights along your travels. I expect choice quotes and book cover pics. Was reading about Shakespeare & Co. last week .. bit envious.
So Jealous !!!! great idea Linz :), we got a mention too - thanks.....
Gutted we couldn't make it this time, not gutted that i am going to miss "it's a small world" though.
can;t wait to follow your travels on the blog - see you soon XXXX
After the most amazing three weeks in Florida in 2011 with our best friends from the other side of the world, an idea was born to meet up again for my 40th birthday to repeat the experience. Life got in the way, finances were short, school holidays didn't match up and a new plan was fostered. A year later than planned, without our friends, we are embarking on a different trip - three weeks in Florida turned into a five week trip to Paris, New York, Florida, Las Vegas, San Francisco and a road trip down the Pacific coast to LA before a hideously long 27 hour flight home.
